Let's talk Farming

Lui with the help of Lacona, bought 30 acres of land, nearly 1/3rd of all available land for the farmers in the county. It cost nearly 10000G. Lui had to give reassurances to the farmers that only their land would be taken away from them. Lui would employ those farmers to work on his farm.

He planned to grow wheat in 15 acres, jute in 5 acres and grow tea in the remaining 10 acres. He bought additional land to make another storage building which he would call granary. He would store the grains in granary in jute bags. It was a small granary, storing nearly 1000 tons, which was enough to feed county of Lacona and Barony of Lump for 10 years. Slowly, he would store grains in the granary, sell some of it to Lacona at already accepted price.

In case of droughts in other territories, the grains would be sold to them at profits.

The work on wheat, jute and tea would begin simultaneously whereas Lacona would make sure that granary would be made during the first harvest. The farming work, and delivering and storage would be done by Maguire Industries in the new branch set up in Lacona. He put Lacona's trusted associate, Cilian Philips in charge of the Lacona branch. He would oversee the expansion of Maguire Stores in Lacona, seeing production of pots and balls, seeing cultivation of tea snd white in the county.
