The One Night Stand

"Merlin, aren't you done yet?" I heard Lisa yell from the living room.

"I don't have a good feeling about this Lisa, what if George finds out about this?" I said then i heaved in a deep breath glancing at my reflection in the mirror for a brisk second, before turning to gaze at my short blue dress on the bed when Lisa walked in.

"Oh Merlin…, i already told you there's no way George would find out, he'll probably think you're coming over to my place, so get dressed we are running late". She said furiously…

We drove to the club and lots of people were trolling in, we got inside but i could barely see, Lisa pulled me over to the bar and ordered some shots.

"Drink up!!" she yelled but i could barely hear her, the music was too loud.

"Hey baby" I heard as i turned to gaze at a man with black hair and tattoos all over his skin.

"Get the fuck out of my sight" i said furiously, then he pulled back walking away.

"Cool down Merlin," Lisa said.

"I can't calm down Lisa, George would kill me if he found out i was in a club filled with drunk men, i shouldn't have lied to him at first " i said turning my gaze to another direction when a handsome man had caught my attention and suddenly he turned to me as our eyes met each other, The handsome man had sandy blonde hair and blue eyes, I could see that he was muscular, He had this alluring look that could make any woman crazy over him, And i had lost control over myself at one glance at him, I shifted my gaze to Lisa who was already dancing with a stranger.

"she had brought me out here to have fun by leaving me all alone" I Murmured as a sigh escaped my lips, then i reached for a shot.

Minutes later i started feeling drowsy after having a few shots and i could barely see, Few moments later my phone rang, it was George.

"Oh George" I said, then i sluggishly stood up heading to the restroom to take the call.

"Hey where are you up to pretty?" I heard as i turned to glance at a man standing behind me.

"Common, let's dance" He said, reaching for my waist and pulling me close to him.

"No, I don't want to dance, leave me alone, please!!!" I pleaded but he didn't seem to be concerned. I tried to let go of his grip but he had held my hands pinned to the wall.

"Where do you think you're going huh?. He said.

"Leave her alone!" I heard another voice as i turned to gaze at the handsome man i had seen earlier, And suddenly everything went blank.

I woke up with a sharp headache and slowly opened my eyes as the reflection of the sun from the window had struck my eyes, I closed my eyes again, using my left hand to shield the sunrays avoiding it from entering my eyes as i opened them slowly this time realising i was in a different room, I couldn't remember anything from last night as i turned to notice a strange figure laying beside me.

"This isn't George, and it definitely isn't Lisa '' I thought to myself and hastily sat up.

"What the hell!!" I screamed as the same handsome man who saved me at the bar was lying naked beside me and i wasn't putting on anything either.

"What did you do to me?, Why did you bring me here?!!" I yelled as i turned around gazing at the room that resembled that of a hotel.

"Calm down" He said in a calm tone, as he got up from the bed picking up his clothes from the floor.

"I should calm down, I can't believe this is happening". I said reaching for my phone that had been ringing for a while.

"George" I said looking at my phone, i turned to the Man who was standing half naked before me and tears rolled down my cheek.

I had just cheated on my boyfriend, the only one i love and lost my virginity to, i swore not to ever let any other man make love to me apart from George, And now this is what i get, I told Lisa I didn't want to come, I didn't like this idea at the first place.

"Did you have sex with me?" I asked furiously.

"But you wanted it," He replied, bluntly.

"I was drunk you pervert" I said, As i hastily wore my dress, And ran out the door, while he watched me leave.

A FEW WEEKS LATER.

Alarm rings…

I stretched my hands and feet as a yawn escaped my mouth, I barely slept through the night as i was so overwhelmed with joy. I have been waiting for this job for so long, and Lisa had made my wish come through, finally i could earn for myself.

I turned to the wall clock And it was past seven.

"Oh i was asked to be there by eight" I said as a yawn escaped my mouth again.

I walked into the bathroom, had my shower, got dressed and drove there.

I got there at exactly 8:00 am then i walked towards the reception as I saw a young handsome man who was still in his early twenties.

"How may we help you ma'am? " He asked, bluntly.

"I'm here for an interview sir" I said respectfully.

"you're late, Wait there" He said bluntly pointing to a direction, There was something about this man that got me astonished And he barely smiled.

"Thank you" I said heading in the direction where a few people were sitting.

The company's skyscraper is so big that it could contain hundreds of rooms in it.

"I'm sure the owner is a multi billionaire" I murmured as i glanced at each corner of the reception,

The aesthetics had this boujee feeling that the owner had a good taste.

"I'm definitely going to work here" I said to myself.

And a Few minutes later the rude young man who happened to be the receptionist appeared with another lady and she accompanied me to the interview room.

"The boss is going to interview you" she said as she ushered me in,

Suddenly a familiar figure had caught my attention. When i turned to see the man i had a one night stand with.

The boss was the man i had a one night stand with!!. My inside voiced screemed as my heart started racing.
