154 Three times the failure

It was early morning. That didn't prevent the elders Curium and Sigal from making time for the young guardians.

The smell of iron from blood reeked in the office. Bruises from the recent battle did not bother the four teens who ignored the chairs to keep standing.

Tess was the only one seated. She kept near the window in case the elders revealed her secret. If that happened, she was going to throw the chair next to her to break someone's jaw. Then she would break through the window and never stop running. 

Zack already knew he could create energy blasts. He wanted to rewatch the large one he sent at the Elites through the elders' orb. 

Zino didn't know how she moved so fast to stop the blackbird from reaching Tess. Maybe a slow mode of her memory would reveal if she moved super-fast, or in fact teleported. It also happened when the monster from the shadow was about to end her.
