19 The Force Of Oppression

The echoes of the bastards echoed in her ears as she could perceive them clearly with the eyes of her crows. The more she observed them, the more she felt inclined to set an example.

'That doesn't sound like a bad idea.'

The edges of Makima's lips rose as her gaze penetrated deep below the dregs of metropolitan Tokyo.

Monkeys have always been arrogant despite the ignorance kept under their wraps. They always thought of their victory as sure.

But they never stop to think about what they were getting themselves into.

Makima wanted to wait for a short while before killing someone. Or, at the very least, she wanted an extremely evil villain for her first kill.

However, she never made a move since it would take the enjoyment of conquering them. But she also realized that there were times when some needed to know that judgment was watching them.

'I needed people to experiment, to begin with, so I guess this is an opportunity.'

Her Force Manipulation was separated into two types. Execution and Oppression. She had learned what she needed to know from the Execution Type of her ability.

It was now time to learn about the Oppression Type.

The first thing Makima needed to do was formulate a question and identify its background information. Second was to refine the subject of the question and consider her resource options.

The third was to use the appropriate tool for the question and locate her materials for the experimentation. Fourth was to analyze the materials while applying the instrument to the question.

Finally... Conclude the experimentation.

"I'm lucky for the vast number of materials I can use."

Makima held her hands together while slowly moving them in a twisting manner. Her eyes peered through the city and observed a peculiar alleyway where small-time villains gathered.

....

Moments ago.

"To think that the Symbol of Evil would actually call me. I thought he was dead, but it looks like he was waiting for the perfect time to strike back."

"Kekeke, I can't help but get excited."

A thug with a large body has a creepy smile on his face. His quirk gave him a strong body. However, it also made his face scary.

He thought it was unfair at first. But he got addicted by the fear people expressed when they looked at him. He could still remember the face of his first murder victim.

The expression of despair and sorrow made him feel hysteric.

Anyhow, throughout Japan, there were many like him waiting for the call of the Symbol of Evil. They wanted things to change and make the world in their image.

Instead of merely peasants, they wanted to be the kings who ruled over the losers. But to do so, they needed a strong leader, a villain leader that could turn the hero society upside down.

And who could do it better than the Symbol of Evil himself?

'I wonder what the Symbol of Evil wanted us to do? To send all of us to the center of metropolitan Tokyo. He must want us to attack the capital.'

'Ahhh... Just thinking about the things I could do is exhilarating.'

The thug couldn't stop himself from thinking about the situations that could happen in their attack. He wanted to also taste a young girl, but he doubted he could have one in Tokyo.

In the alleyway, the gathering villains numbered in dozens. There was no way ordinary pro-heroes could handle their numbers.

After all, they were practically an army.

"Oi, oi, uncle. Is this the place where villains under the Symbol of Evil gather?"

Out of nowhere, a cheery girl touched the shoulder of the thug. He froze in shock since he didn't notice the girl until she touched his back.

What if she was holding a knife? He could have died without having the opportunity to fight back.

The thug glanced at the cheery girl and took note of her appearance.

The teenage girl was fair-skinned and seemed pretty. She had cat-like eyes that were yellowish in color. Her teeth also made her look more feline.

Her hair was a pale ash-blonde color and styled into two messy buns. She had bangs covering her forehead, but they weren't as noticeable as her dagger.

Upon seeing the dagger, the thug realized this normal-looking high school student was a villain.

"Yes, villains called by the Symbol of Evil are gathered in this place."

"Were you also called?"

The thug looked at her with a questioning face since it was an achievement to be ordered by the Symbol of Evil despite being a fledgling villain.

"Nah, I wasn't called by the so-called Symbol of Evil. I merely notice some strange-looking people gathering in an alleyway."

"I thought it was interesting."

The young villainess was playing with her dagger while responding to the thug.

"I see... If you aren't directly invited by him, there should be no reason for you to continue staying here."

He knew the bastards here were petty and arrogant. If they notice an unknown young villain who wasn't invited, there would be bloodshed in this alley.

And he doesn't want such a thing to happen, especially if they hadn't assaulted the city yet. He desired to have fun and torture those civilians.

Not duel against another villain.

"Nah, this looks interesting. I'm intrigued about how your gathering will go. From the looks of it, you're planning something big."

The crazy teenage villain didn't have any plans to step out of the alley without having some fun for herself.

With her words, many more villains took notice of her existence. The thug slowly backed away from the young villainess and acted as if he didn't know her.

One of the villains, who resembled a boar, walked forward and questioned the young teenage girl.

"Who the hell are you, twig? The h*ll is a kid doing here in an alleyway?"

"Do you want to sell your body?

The boar villain raised an eyebrow while looking at the teenage girl from head to toe and licked his lips. It has been a while since he had some fun.

"Eh? I don't have any interest in pigs."

The young villainess's mouth was poisonous as she didn't have a tinge of mercy towards the boar villain. The teen was disgusted. And she acted as though she was shivering in fear.

Her actions made the surrounding villains laugh at the boar villain for looking so disgusting. This results in the boar villain gritting his teeth in anger.

He wanted to choke the girl from oblivion, but before he could do so, he felt a bit strange.

"Do you all feel a bit heavy?"

The boar villain glanced at the surrounding villains with anxiousness. He also felt a sense of dread. He could feel something coming. But he didn't know where it was coming from.

He looked around in fear and gazed upward to the skies. Then, he saw a couple of crows resting above the alleyway, observing the gathering.

The impending doom his instincts felt got stronger as death seemed to loom over him.

When the young villainess noticed the fearful actions of the boar villain. She couldn't stop herself from chuckling, which also made others laugh.

"Please don't kill me! I won't do crime ever again!"

"I'll show myself to the police and have them arrest me!"

"Please give me mercy!"

The boar villain begged for mercy while backing away from the gathering villains. The villains stopped laughing after hearing his words and saw something horrifying afterward.

"ARGGHHHH!!!"

*Splat!*

Out of nowhere, the boar villain had his body twisted and crushed into meat paste. Blood and guts splattered everywhere as his eyeball rolled over the pavement.

Silence shrouded the alleyway afterward as none could utter a word. It was a rare tranquility in the world of villainy.

But such calm was broken as the next villain got his body squashed out of nowhere. He couldn't even scream before his death.

*Splat!*

"F*ck! What the f*ck!!!"

"The h*ll is going on!!!"

"Why are they exploding!!!"

"I don't want to die!!!"

*Splat!*

Anyhow... The villains lost their composures, and chaos reigned over the alleyway. Cries, screams, grunts, and whimpers resounded like echoes.

*Splat!*

The young villainess was confused as to what was happening. She wasn't expecting to be met with a bloodfest.

On the other hand, the thug ran away from the location, wanting to get away from the messy circumstances. The shining ray of the exit gleamed with luster.

Hope was before the thug's eyes. But then, a looming pressure covered his body. While sprinting to his freedom, he could only utter one word.

"F*c-"

*Splat!*

The villain's body was squashed into damnation, leaving nothing but a pool of blood. In merely a minute, dozens of villains died in a massacre.

Only one was left behind. And it was the young villainess who could only feel chills throughout her body.

She liked blood, and it was her favorite.

But for the first time in her life. Ever since she received her quirk... She found herself disgusted by the crimson red.

The observing crows spiraled into the bloody mess and gathered into one amalgamation. The screeches of the jet-black crows perpetuated in the eerie alleyway.

The villainess felt that this was a good moment to run. Sadly, she couldn't move a single muscle from her body.

It took some time, but when the crows concluded their gory ritual. A gorgeous lady with crimson hair emerged from their convergence.

She calmly walked in the pools of blood, each step creating distant echoes. A mesmerizing and soothing smile was on her face as she stood before the young villainess.

"I didn't expect to see you here."
