The Blood Lusting Puppy

"Ehm..."

The young villainess could barely smile, and even her smile was unknowingly trembling in terror. She had a hard time maintaining her calm. For some reason, she felt she couldn't carelessly move.

Otherwise, she would die.

"W-Were you the one that massacred them?"

She knew there was no use in asking such a question. It was clear that the lady was the one who enacted the massacre. But she couldn't help but want to confirm it.

After all, the lady didn't seem to look like someone who would slaughter others without batting an eye.

"Oh, it's not me. I only appeared here after noticing the screams of people."

"I wondered what occurred since it was rare to hear such pitiful cries."

"To think that someone would actually slaughter them."

Makima acted as though she felt unwell from the surrounding pool of crimson red. But her reaction was somewhat a bit too late.

The young villainess was an insane girl, but the gorgeous lady before her was a monster pretending to be a human.

Dozens of people were killed in an instant. And to think the lady would have time to put on an act.

She wanted to call the lady out of her lies. But she never gathered the courage to do so. When facing death, one could only stay quiet.

"So, little one..."

Makima placed her pale fingers on the young villainess's chin.

"What were you doing in this alleyway?"

The young villainess glanced at Makima's hypnotic and golden eyes. She felt mesmerized, but luckily, her instincts as a villain pulled her out of that hypnotic state.

"I-I... I was interested in what a group of people were doing in a random alleyway."

"Miss Lady, are you a villain?"

She wanted to know if the monster before her was a villain. After all, she never heard of such a powerful villain in Tokyo.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, little one."

"I'm not a villain."

"My name is Makima, I am from the Counter Division."

Makima rubbed the young villainess's head as she introduced herself. On the other hand, the villainess felt flustered and nervous.

The gorgeous crimson-haired monster wasn't a villain. Who in the world would believe that after watching the massacre the lady had done?

Nevertheless, she could feel the gorgeous lady's words clear of lies. Which meant that, as ironic as it could get. The lady spoke the truth.

"The Counter Division's covenant is the termination of villains that threaten the vital infrastructure of Japan."

Makima stepped forward with her supple lips beside the young villainess's ears.

"Little one, are you one of them?"

Her voice was mesmerizing as it could hypnotize those who heard of it.

The young villainess felt her heart wildly beat after the monster's accusation. She didn't want to die, so she desired to lie.

But for some reason, she felt as though the moment she uttered a lie. Her head would be separated from her body.

"I... I am a villain."

She closed her eyelids, expecting the blades of the guillotine to slice her neck. Though seconds passed by, the fate she expected to face never came.

Makima's smile got wider after hearing the young villainess's answer. She rubbed the young one's head once again as she appreciated honesty.

"It's good that you didn't lie."

"I am proud of you, Himiko Toga."

Himiko, catching her name from the monster's mouth, was shocked. How did the lady know her name? Wasn't this the first time she ever met her?

"Ho- How did you know my name? Are you stalking me?"

Himiko covered her chest in instinct and acted as though she was an innocent girl cornered by a pervert.

Makima smirked and flicked the young lady's forehead.

*Flick!*

"Ack!"

"Why did you hit me?"

Himiko pouted and rubbed the spot where Makima flicked her. From the looks of it, the young villainess was adapting to the situation somewhat fast.

"You have been quite popular since your first murder. Do you think going to a new city would be enough for others to not know you?"

"I read an article about you and your quirk. I guess I found it a bit impressive."

Makima pinched Himiko's cheeks and softly extended it. Himiko could only groan from the monster's actions as she had lost her will to resist.

"What are you planning to do with me, then? I'm a villain, so will you kill me?"

Himiko felt captivated by the gorgeous crimson-haired lady. She appeared pleasant and seemed easy to work with.

"Perhaps, but I don't feel inclined to execute you."

"Instead, why don't you become my puppy, Himiko-chan?"

"If you become my puppy, I'll treat you better than everyone."

"As long as you follow my words without questions..."

"You'll be able to do whatever you want."

Makima's words were seductive and charming. Himiko felt her face reddened. She couldn't help but imagine scenes the monster would do to her.

She was captivated. Especially when no one and nothing in this world accepted her for what she was. Even her fellow villains were creeped out by her.

"Are you sure you want me? Do you know what I could do to those I like?"

Himiko was hesitant, so she looked into Makima's eyes, wanting an answer.

"Don't worry, Himiko-chan. I'll properly tame you to become my best puppy."

"There's no need to be worried about such needless thoughts."

The young villainess's weird and strange personality wasn't a problem for Makima. In her eyes, Himiko was a puppy that needed to be trained.

And as her owner, she must do so with effort and patience.

Himiko was flabbergasted but then went back to her senses. She hopped and hugged Makima's waist tightly with delight.

"I'll be your best puppy, Master. Please take care of me."

Her actions were a bit appalling to Makima. But she instantly adapted to it. After all, she was the best manipulator in the world.

"You're the first puppy to act like this. I'll spoil you,"

There was sincerity in Makima's words. Most of her puppies would always act like a tsundere and never sought attention. So this was the first.

"But before that, I'll have to take care of this."

Makima glanced at the bloodied alleyway. Pools of crimson red were scattered about. It was quite a horrific scene.

She wanted to use them to set an example to the factions of this city. However, she should have left some bodies as a sign.

'I guess there is nothing I can do about that.'

"Himiko-chan, do you know how to paint using blood?"

Makima was curious about Himiko's hobbies as she was a young lady who lusted over blood. She should have done intriguing things with it.

"Eh... I prefer to not waste it. But sometimes, I do paint using blood."

"Though, I use them as a signal that I was there."

Himiko wasn't interested in painting through blood. She loved blood and would instead consume it.

"That's good enough, Himiko-chan."

"I'd like your help with something."

It was time to draw art for the entire city of Tokyo to observe. And she needed to make it as terrorizing as it could get.

Himiko took a brush from somewhere and began presenting her painting skills to the alley walls. On the other hand, Makima observed her display of art skills with interest.

"After all, I'm the only one that can play in this city."
