17 For What Will Be Seen In The Future?

Somewhere in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

In the depths of the Kamino Ward was a villain who lived far beyond his era. He was there when the first quirk emerged, he was there when the world fell into chaos, and he was there to rule them all.

He was the Symbol of Evil.

The Villain, All For One.

With the ability to take other quirks for himself or transfer them to another person, he was meant to become the primal transgressor of the hero society.

However, his reign ended when he and All Might fought to the death. He barely lived from that battle, and his strength waned.

But nonetheless, he was still the Symbol of Evil.

And he awaits his return.

"Master... Kurogiri and Shigaraki were captured after they assaulted the hero academy."

A doctor hidden in the shadows reported the situation of the outside world. His gaze was pointed at the man on a comfy chair with dozens of tubes inserted in his body.

The man had no face, and he looked fragile.

"Was it All Might that defeated them?"

All For One voice was cold and hoarse. But it carried the weight and dominance one expected from the Symbol of Evil.

"Perhaps, Master. All Might did defeat Nomu, but Kurogiri and Shigaraki's capture was due to the interference of the Hero Public Safety Commission."

The doctor asserted his findings since it had been a couple of hours since the press released the entire situation of the USJ incident.

According to the news, it was due to the bravery of commission agents to aid the students of the new generation that a tragedy was avoided.

"The public servants interfered, huh?"

"It seems that things went beyond my expectations."

"I thought that Kurogiri would be enough to bring them out of any precarious situation."

All For One didn't seem bothered that his apprentice got captured by the commission.

"I knew he couldn't defeat All Might in his current state. I wanted to give him a lesson. I underestimated the pro-heroes of today's generation."

During the entire monologue of All For One, the doctor kept quiet and glanced at the numerous monsters they were creating in the laboratory.

Nomus were barely artificially created beings that could handle the power of two or more quirks. Their main ingredient was human corpses.

As a doctor, it was easy for him to acquire corpses for the sake of experimentation.

"Master, I also have something to report."

"What is it?"

All For One stopped his monologue and would have raised an eyebrow if he had one. He looked at the doctor with curiosity.

"It took some time to learn this information, but the two were heavily injured before getting apprehended."

"What do you mean by that?"

The doctor gulped after hearing his Master's question, but he was determined to report the info he discovered.

"Kurogiri's body was battered beyond redemption. He should be barely alive for now. And Shigaraki lost both of his arms in the battle."

After uttering such words, silence encapsulated the underground laboratory. The doctor could feel the rising anger of his Master.

A life-threatening injury didn't bother All For One, but crippling his subordinate and apprentice's body was far beyond what he could accept.

"I didn't expect public servants to be so ruthless. I shouldn't have expected more from people who wanted to control and use quirk users in the Era of Chaos."

"I wanted to lessen my interactions with the outside world until the perfect moment came. It appears I'll have to make a move."

All For One felt disappointed at everyone, including the public servants, heroes, villains, and especially his apprentice, Shigaraki.

"What are your orders, Master?"

The doctor kneeled and bowed before All For One, wanting to hear his Master's orders. It has been a while since they made a move, and he was somewhat excited.

"Mobilize the villains under our control locally and internationally.

"It's time to prepare for war. I want to take the bodies of my apprentice and subordinate at this moment. But that will have to wait."

"Our target will be the Tokyo Hero Public Safety Commission Headquarters, and it will be the greatest disaster this country has ever felt."

"I look forward to our future, Kyudai."

All For One wasn't hesitant in using his connections and wealth as the Symbol of Evil. To him, what mattered the most was raw power.

With the orders of his Master, the doctor couldn't help but grin since his precious children would finally be able to aid their Master.

"It will be done, Master. I will make sure of it."

The doctor stood up and left the confines of the laboratory, leaving All For One alone in his thoughts.

This humble world's destiny has changed into something else, and the Devil was the one that brought its diversion.

....

A couple of days later.

In the popular Stellarbucks was a gorgeous crimson-haired lady pleasantly smiling at two individuals before her. Dozens of customers surrounded the three of them, concealing them from outside observers.

"I wasn't expecting you to quit your job as an educator, Thirteen."

Makima remarked since she was astounded by how quick and straightforward the heroine acted. She expected a few weeks to pass by before Thirteen resigned.

It seems she underestimated the heroine.

"It was already in my mind when I first saw you, Teacher."

Thirteen's words sounded determined, as though she already reached a decision for herself.

"Don't call me, Teacher. I never taught you anything."

Makima waved her hand as even the memories she changed didn't have her teaching the heroine anything important.

"I disagree... You taught me to be who I am now."

"What you are now is the result of your choice."

"I am but a mere guide."

Makima drank her tea and looked like a grand sage with hundreds of life experiences to back her up.

"Regardless, I didn't expect to see you, Uraraka-chan."

"I was wondering whether you'd accept my offer or not. At the very least, I wanted to hear your rejection."

Beside Thirteen was Uraraka, who felt nervous as it was her first time surrounded by beautiful and accomplished ladies. She also desired to be someone like them.

"Uh... Ehm... You see, I wanted to talk about the offer you gave me. Is it still open?"

Hearing Uraraka's anxious words, Makima couldn't help but smirk and tease the girl.

"You mean the offer for your body?"

Uraraka deeply blushed in crimson red after Makima asserted. It felt a bit too lewd to be spoken in public.

"You must be facing some problems, Uraraka-chan."

"What made you accept my offer?"

Makima's voice was mesmerizing and soothing as if it was spoken by a worried mother. Uraraka trembled and let out her worries to the Devil.

"I-I... My family business has been undergoing some problems lately. Mom and Dad are tense. I don't want to see them fight each other because of money."

"I only want to see them smile and am willing to do anything to maintain it."

At first, her words sounded pitiful. But as she continued to utter her frustrations, she became determined about what she wanted to do.

"I see... You're brave, Uraraka-chan."

"My offer is still open until the end of time, so why don't we make a contract?"

Makima tilted her head and spoke with a tempting voice that could hypnotize anyone.

"Eh? Teacher, what are you doing with my student?"

While she wasn't an educator anymore, Uraraka was still her former student. It was strange to hear about her Teacher wanting her student's body.

"Don't worry, Thirteen. I'm giving a hand to my sooner or later precious puppy. Besides, if you're worried. You can be with Uraraka-chan for a while."

"So why don't we begin."

Makima wanted to start the contract making. But it seemed she forgot about Uraraka, not knowing anything about it.

Uraraka found herself confused since no supposed contract paper could be seen anywhere on the table.

Makima grinned and wanted Uraraka to follow her words.

"Uraraka-chan, follow my directions."

"Say my name ###### and state what you want."

"You will be given a price."

Uraraka followed the directions of Makima and recited her name as a Devil. The bubbly girl gulped as she felt her instincts trying to stop her.

But remembering her parents, she became determined and stated what she wanted.

"I want wealth and for my parents to become happy."

"Good, then the price will be yourself."

Uraraka felt something chaining the entirety of her being. It was as if she became shackled to the crimson-haired lady before her.

"Wasn't that simple, Uraraka-chan?"

"Since we have made a contract, I'll do my part."

"You desired wealth and for your parents to become happy. The only way to do so is through saving their business."

"I'll hire them as one of my main collaborators in the Tengen Conglomerate. This should be enough to bring natural wealth without them being suspicious about it."

Makima's suggestion was basically Uraraka laundering her money through her parent's construction business. Uraraka froze for a second after hearing it. Though, she swiftly got out of her trance.

"But what about my side of the deal?"

For Makima to do her side of the deal, Uraraka must do hers. Uraraka understood what contracts were. They were vital for trust between collaborators.

"Since you're mine, I'll teach you how to fight and win in the U.A.'s sports festival. Other than that, work hard to become a heroine."

"What I'll do to you will be for the future to find out."

Makima grinned and placed her index fingers before her supple lips.

It makes one wonder what the Devil will do to the innocent and naïve bubbly girl in the far future.
