He teached the child about good and evil, and told the child that powerful beings should protect the good things when they can.

He also told the child to live life in a way that makes you happy.

They talked together like this for hours while walking to the ruin's entrance, and Edric became closer to the child whil doing so.

This continued until they reached the surface.

When I reached the ruins entrance, I saw the child looking at me, he was clearly excited, remembering that I told him I would give him a name. I had been thinking on what name to give him on the way here, and I had already decided How to name him.

I looked at him and smiled, and then started talking.
