The reason to live.

Edric waited for the children to wake up while he observed the landscape on his surroundings.

Black beaches,a lush forest and a huge mountain in the distance, as well as unique animals that inhabited the place.

There were mammals that shaped like balloons, floating in the air and There were colorful reptiles climbing on trees, as well as a lot of different insects and plants.

The scenery was quite "beautiful", Although from what Edric saw, any normal human would have a lot of trouble surviving here, though he hadn't seen any living humans in this planet yet.

Edric wondered for how long this planet would exist.

He definitely remembers being in countless planets with life in them before, but those moments happened a long LONG time ago, so even if he was able to remember that it was something in the past.

But now Edric had been living in this new reality for four months, he met Anas and he created Tihoro and Urosu, he learned about essence and he had seen a lot of new things... He had lived a unbelievable amount of time in a lifeless universe, and he could have given up and died in any moment he decided, but he didn't... and he was able to see this sight right here, right now.

Maybe it was because he was alone, but he started thinking about these things.

He had lived a longer life than anything he had seen, and he was planning to live for much longer but it would be a lie to say that he didn't have moments when he was doubtful about the point in struggling to live longer when everything became the same after a while, he lost his ability to feel emotions and everything looked similar to him. But he endured, and all of those moments struggling brought him to this moment.

Edric decided to continue living for a long, long time, But this time with company.

Eventually, Anas woke up and he found Edric sitting in the entrance of the house, and as he saw Edric Anas smiled and ran towards him happily.

[Edric! I feel full of energy and like my mind has relaxed a lot, it's awesome!](A)

Edric patted Anas' head and spoke.

[Is that so? that's a good thing then]

Anas laughed and hugged Edric.

Edric hugged him back and then Anas asked where were the siblings.

[They are still sleeping in their room](E)

[Really? hmm, I wonder how sleeping looks like](A)

[Let's go see them then, but don't be to loud or they might wake up](E)

And so, Edric and Anas entered in the room of the siblings, and then they saw them laying in their beds with their eyes closed.

They had a relaxed look on their faces, like the world was free of worries and they were drooling as well.

(Did I look like this too?) Wondered Anas as he saw the happy siblings.

Edric, on the other hand was looking at the siblings faces, they looked quite human and young (Although they didn't had any gender defining features) and, unlike Anas -whose face looked quite similar to that of Edric- the siblings had unique facial features.

Edric was really careful when making the siblings, and he even made it so they would be able to develop by themselves as if they were growing older, he had essentially created two real beings who could think by themselves.

Edric had created them to experiment, but he became quite attached to them after a while.

It was a really weird sensation... Edric had lived for billions of years, yet in only a few months, a blink of an eye he had grown fond of these children.

But it wasn't a bad sensation, so Edric didn't care.

Anas, Urosu and Tihoro.

he would make sure these children grew properly, and he would protect them from any serious danger.

Although he doubted there was anyone that would be able to kill them, he knew there could surely be something that could do that.

The siblings woke up an yawned while still feeling sleepy.

Edric decided to start training them so that they could cross the ocean using their own strength, and he smiled in a reassuring way as he said good morning to the sleepy siblings.
