A new experiment.

After finishing their meal, Edric and Anas looked at the bones of the dragon that hadn't been used yet.

Edric thought about a use for them, but he couldn't come up with one easily.

Neither Edric nor Anas needed weapons or armors, as their bodies were their weapons. And he couldn't come up with any way to use the bones.

But then he remembered something he saw not too long ago, and wondered if he could do something similar to that.

He was, of course, thinking about the moving armors he saw back in the ruins he had entered before.

He started thinking about the possibilities if he could create beings that followed his command, and he even started wondering how complex he could make their behaviors, and if he could create a being as intelligent as a human.

Of course, in the span of his life he has done things like this more than one time, but even for him it was a lengthy process, with his new control of his body he could create separate bodies easily, but he wasn't able to make them conscious yet even though he could move them manually, mainly because even with his intelligence he couldn't visualize the whole process of a human conscience happening in his body.

But if he started experimenting with essence he would eventually be able to do this.

he needed to start working with the dragon bones first for that, though.

-One week later-

Edric had been working in the dragon bones, learning how to make them move.

In the first day, he learned how to make the bones follow his orders while supplying them with essence.

In the second day he used the knowledge he had of essence regeneration to eliminate the need to supply them with essence.

In the third day, he realized that the size of the dragon bones wasn't useful, so he crushed the bones into dust and made two bodies with it.

In the fourth day, he gave each body enough intelligence to follow his orders, and gave them different colors to differentiate them, black and white.

In the fifth day he gave them the ability to feel loyalty, instead of simply following his orders, and he also gave them different personalities.

In the sixth day he named the black body "urosu" and the white one "tihoro" and woke up their conscience.

In the last day he continued exploring once more.

-Two months later-

even though Edric could control beasts to follow his orders he still decided to create the two bodies made out of dragon bones to learn how to create simple consciousness with essence.

After he spent time with them he started to improve them gradually and making them smarter, they were now almost as intelligent as a human being and their personalities started developing as well, with Urosu being expressive in his actions and wanting to improve himself and Tihoro following orders faithfully.

Edric and Anas continued to explore, now with Urosu and Tihoro.

They saw beautiful places and a lot of unique beasts, but nothing was challenging at all for the group.

They eventually explored most of the continent, they saw forests filled with giant mushrooms, deserted areas, mountain ranges and floating islands while exploring, But even then there weren't a lot of things that could be useful for Edric, at least until now.

Edric looked at Anas, and saw that they had only grown by 2 centimeters in the past two months, though their strength had increased by a lot.

Edric looked at his own stats.

The group walked for a bit and they saw what seemed like a concrete floor that seemed to be keeping away something.

Edric examined it and found that the concrete continued until one kilometer under the surface.

Edric walked to the center of the floor and found words in several different languages carved in the concrete.
