I Only Acquire Legendary Items

In the year 2000, Earth underwent a great change as some humans began to evolve and gain abilities which were thought to only be fictional. Alongside this, these humans could see a detailed screen of their own information, this included their 'level' which is a measurement of a person's strength. However, this was not the most accurate way of measuring power, as 'classes' which can be innate or earned were the true measure of power. A class is what allowed people to specialise in certain areas and become exponentially stronger in that area than other people. Classes are also what allowed the use of magical abilities as only certain people were born with magic classes, and very rarely were they earned in 'The Tower'. 'The Tower', was a place that humans with powers received access to as soon as they 'awakened' which was a process which can happen at any age but always on the person's birthday. Inside the Tower, challenges awaited awakened humans on every floor and they would have to beat the challenge to survive and move on to the next floor. By doing this, greater levels of strength could be acquired, as well as great wealth. Every 10 floors in the Tower, a climber's grade is determined and they can receive the best rewards available to anyone. This was the main way people who were not innately born with classes could gain one. Years after the emergence of this information, humans had become completely accustomed to their way of life and the world's economy and technology levels had advanced dramatically. However, the most dramatic event would happen on Cyrus' 17th birthday when every awakened human was transported back to the first floor of the tower no matter how high up they had gone, or how low down they were. As well as this, the previously single person floors of the tower could become multi-player floors. Most importantly, none of them could leave.

Samuel Ray

Samuel Ray walked out of his house waving to his neighbours. Getting into his car he stretched his six foot frame out behind the wheel. Moving away from his house and neighbourhood, little did he know it would be the last time he saw either of them. High in orbit above the earth, an unearthly craft was hiding among the satellites. It’s sleek black skin absorbs all light and energy that comes near it. A tall, blonde, human looking male nodded at the read out. “I think we’ve finally located the one on this planet that was giving off those energy readings.” “It’s about time!” A smaller in height and frame female replied. “I want all bio-scanners on this one this time. No mistakes like last time.” The female hissed. “I’ll remove more than an ear this time!” The male, a hand to the stub like projection from the side of his head, nodded. “All scans now active, directed at the subject.” The male said as clearly as he could. The female stood, walking up behind the male. “Hmmm, this one has more markers than any we’ve seen before. I’m so glad I suggested we come to this primitive place.” The male hid his face as he rolled his eyes. Her idea? Slightly shaking his head he wondered how she’d go on without him. Most of her ideas were actually his. A slashing to his back let him know he’d not heard the last thing she’d said. “You worthless piece of scum! I told you to get him!” The female growled. “I will mistress as soon as he stops moving! We don’t want a repeat of last time like on penal-one.” The male said as he wrenched at the pain across his back.

Echoes Of Retribution

In the heart of New Haven, where the city's sprawling skyline was a canvas for shadows and secrets, Ethan Park was about to embark on a journey that would blend the electrifying genres of suspense, thriller, action, comedy, and romance, all in the pursuit of retribution. Ethan had once been a brilliant cybersecurity expert at OmniCorp, a tech juggernaut entangled in a web of dark secrets. But when he stumbled upon evidence of their insidious machinations, his life unraveled. Falsely accused of a cybercrime, he was forced into exile, burning with a relentless desire to clear his name. The relentless downpour outside matched the tempest of emotions within Ethan as he navigated the rain-slicked streets of New Haven. But he was not alone in his quest. Soon, he would cross paths with the Echoes of Retribution, a clandestine network fueled by their thirst for justice. And amidst the high-stakes thrill of their mission, sparks flew between Ethan and Nina Petrov, the group's fiery investigative journalist. Their interactions were a mix of fiery exchanges, daring rescues, and stolen glances—a budding romance amid the chaos of their operation. As the Echoes infiltrated high-profile galas in ludicrous disguises and engaged in high-octane action sequences to expose corruption, their antics often bordered on the absurd, offering moments of comedy and levity in the face of danger. Laughter became their secret weapon, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, love could flourish, humor could triumph, and justice could prevail. "Echoes of Retribution" is an electrifying amalgamation of suspense, thriller, action, comedy, and romance—a pulse-pounding adventure in a city where justice was elusive, danger was ever-present, and heroes emerged from the unlikeliest of alliances. At its heart stood Ethan Park, a man who would become the catalyst for a reckoning long overdue, both in the pursuit of justice and the matters of the heart.
