1 Reborn in the World of Blue Eye

Hey there, I'm Duke! I used to be a resident of Earth, but now I find myself reincarnated in a whole new world called 'Blue Eye.' This place is twelve times bigger than Earth, but unfortunately, its water resources are only six times the amount of our home planet. Crazy, right?

Blue Eye's history followed a similar path to Earth's until something crazy happened in the 1800s. A mysterious global phenomenon known as "The Rifts" occurred, and through these rifts, otherworldly monsters invaded Earth, causing chaos and pushing humanity to the brink of defeat. But something miraculous happened - humans began developing powers! With these newfound abilities, they fought back against the monsters and slowly gained the upper hand. Eventually, humans even started venturing into the rifts, creating a new era of humanity. The emergence of superhumans became the norm, with those lacking powers becoming their subservient underlings, the natural order of society taking shape.

Even though the monsters remained a threat, humanity learned to adapt to the challenges. Some even tamed certain monsters, domesticating them for various purposes. Researchers worked tirelessly to understand these creatures as the rifts opened and closed in different locations on Blue Eye.

But here's the kicker - the biggest danger to ordinary humans now comes from the so-called "Supers" who have grown superior to their non-powered counterparts. These powerful individuals formed guilds that, in effect, served as governing bodies, with the most influential Supers leading these guilds. They offer resources, social status, fame, and wealth to their members, creating a complex social hierarchy.

However, not all Supers chose to join these guilds. Some were too powerful and preferred to remain independent, while others, possessing weaker abilities, sought their value differently. Unfortunately, having superpowers doesn't guarantee one's righteousness, as some misused their abilities for criminal activities, perpetuating a struggle between good and evil.

Now, as an eight-year-old from a privileged family with ties to the Large Oil Families, I find this world to be a reflection of my previous home, Earth, but with superpowers! My parents are both A-grade Supers, with my dad controlling Ice and my mom controlling Metal. My siblings are also powerful, with my brother possessing the Ice element (Grade A) and my sister possessing Lightning (Grade B). I'm the youngest and still waiting for my powers to manifest.

In the world of Supers, powers usually manifest at the age of 10, and individuals receive rankings from F to Ex based on their abilities. My family members hold respectable power grades between A and D. Although I don't have my powers yet, I'm excited to see what ability I might inherit.

While I wait for my powers to manifest, I spend my time with my family, observing my siblings' training, researching the powers and grades present in this world, and attending a regular school. Our family is pretty well-off, so we live in a relatively modest mansion in Chesapeake, a remote location. My parents work from home, so they can spend more time with us.

Life in this world is a fascinating mix of modernity and superpowers, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for me as a Super in the world of Blue Eye.
