6 Training

Since he was famished, he went to the kitchen.

After coming there, he called the kitchen Master out.

"What do you need young master? Don't tell me you are hungry once again, it's not even been 4 hours since you ate last." The kitchen master named Ron said sarcastically.

Of course, everybody has heard the rumours about how Alex started to change for the better, but nobody believes them and nobody had the guts to confirm the rumour.

But Ron was different, he is the second son of a fallen noble family.

He wanted to confirm Alex's change by seeing his reaction to Ron's remark. He believed that Alex was a spoiled brat and couldn't change, no matter what.

But he was disappointed. "Yes, Mister Ron, since I have training from the morning, I have used too much energy so I will need a quick bite of some food."

Ron was surprised but didn't say anything and turned around to go into the kitchen after saying "Ok, The food will be served shortly, please wait at the table."

Although Alex wanted to beat the shit out of him for his remark, he knew how important it is to maintain a good image in front of the servants. Also after searching the previous Alex's memories, the hate of servants for Alex seemed justified.

After eating, Alex once again went to the training field for an evening training session.

Alex has decided to lose his weight as soon as possible, he couldn't waste his time on losing weight while his peers are practicing weapons and magic.

After losing a little fat after the body upgrade coupled with him being running since morning, Alex discovered now he can run around the 500-meter field in a little over 20 minutes which was a huge improvement to be made in a single day

One month later

A boy could be seen running around the ground. He was running at a speed that would be considered fast for a normal human.

Although he was not slim and had belly fat but overall his build could be considered lean.

His arms were muscled with sharp cuts, caused by all the weightlifting, push-ups and weapons training.

The youth had white hair which were fluttering in the air while he was running.

His blue eyes and sharp eyebrows could mesmerize anybody. He would have been considered too handsome if not for his double chin and fatty cheeks.

After running for many hours, the youth started doing push-ups, and pull-ups for an hour then went straight to Infirmary and picked up a sword, he was holding the sword in his right hand and a basic swordsmanship manual in his left.

The youth then went straight to a separate section of the training grounds where practice dummies were put.

He stood in front of a practice dummy and tried his basic swordsmanship.

This youth was none other than Alex.

It should be noted that it has only been 3 days since he started practicing swordsmanship.

Although it was only basic but even people talented in swords also take at least two weeks of continuous training to achieve mastery over the basics of swords.

Geniuses can do it in a week but to achieve mastery over basic swordsmanship in less than a week was something only a once-in-a-century genius can do and that's exactly what Alex has done.

This was the gift, the system had given to Alex. Talent in all weapons, although Alex didn't ask for this from the Goddess, this was something the Goddess herself decided to give.

Every stroke of his sword was perfect, although the basics of the sword only contained three strikes which were -

Horizontal slash

Stab

Overhead vertical strike.

But they were not easy to achieve. He continuously slashed and stabbed the puppet with frequent overhead strikes.

The new training dummy was now close to being ripped to shreds.

With his right hand a little curled, Alex brought the sword above his head. He stepped his right foot in front of him and with all the force of his hands

'Swish' the sound of air cutting can be heard and bam,

The wooden sword hit the head of the dummy and split the dummy vertically in two.

With this, he had mastered the basics of swords.

This manual only had the basics of swords but it was still difficult to master.

Mastering a basic technique in 3 days was monstrous talent.

By this time it was already past noon and lunchtime was near.

Alex went to a stool nearby, on the stool was a piece of cloth wrapping something.

Alex picked it up and removed the cloth. Inside were pieces of beef jerky and bread, there was also a cup of milk kept on the stool.

Alex stuffed everything in his mouth and chewed it down a little before gulping it down.

Alex then went running, this was also the reason why Alex was able to master the swordsmanship in 3 days because he has been training from morning to night every day for the past month.

Alex continued to train till night and then went to sleep in his room.

Although he had been sleeping near the training fields on a makeshift bed for the past three days, he went to his room tonight because tomorrow is a big day and Alex wanted to be in his peak condition tomorrow morning.

Alex went straight to the side table where food was already set, ready to be eaten and a maid was standing nearby for any orders.

The maid's eyes were glittering as she observed Alex eating his food.

The rumours of his change had already spread throughout the viscounty and all the servants of the house had personally observed and confirmed that Alex had indeed turned over a new leaf.

Not only that but Alex had been very generous in tipping servants of the house over this past month to increase his reputation.

If Alex wanted to recruit subordinates in future, a good reputation was a must, as nobody would swear allegiance to a spoiled brat.

Although Alex had still not shown his true beauty yet, the past training had made him much more handsome than before.

All the maids were now mad for Alex and used various other excuses to meet him and glance at his face.

After eating dinner, Alex turned around, walked toward the bed and quickly fell asleep after changing his clothes.

The maid blushed at the sight of Alex changing his clothes in front of him but he was already done changing his clothes before the maid could even get proper glances at his back.

After that, the maid quickly ran out of the door with utensils in hand and 'click', the sound of the door closing was heard and Alex turned around to check.

After seeing there was no one in his room, a wide sinister grin appeared on his face.

Alex knew that the maid had a crush on him and that's also why he changed clothes in front of her. He wanted to show his whole body but he had still not gotten rid of his belly fat.

So Alex changed clothes in such a way that the maid could only see his back.

Alex wanted the maid to fall in love with him, since after appraising everyone in this house. Alex only found that maid as someone worthy enough to be his subordinate, no, that maid had so much talent that she was the one, who only had an Emperor worthy enough for her to serve.

Of course, she didn't know about her talent and potential.

Alex had to get her before anybody else can.

Thinking of his future plans Alex once again lay down on the bed and fell asleep with a large smile on his face.

It was 8 in the morning, the sun was shining brightly and the rays of the sun were piercing the curtains and directly melting into Alex's face.

Although he had just woken up, Alex couldn't hide his excitement.

After all, how could he since today was the day he will finally start his mana training.
