8 Class 1
As Alex started his mana training, he had to first feel mana in the air to absorb it.
As per records it usually takes around 3-4 sessions of cultivations to first feel mana so Alex just sat there continuously focusing and trying to feel the Mana in the air.
2 hours quickly went by and now Alex was approaching his limit.
After 2 hours and a few minutes, Alex opened his eyes, his body had approached the limit, so he had to stop and continue tomorrow.
Just like that the first session went without Alex being able to even feel the Mana in the air.
After cultivating, Alex went to sleep and woke up early the next day.
Alex trained for a whole day before once again starting to cultivate at night.
This time, however, something was different, Alex could somehow feel the Mana in the air after almost one hour of meditation.
Alex was ecstatic, he quickly started absorbing the Mana in the air and bringing it to his Mana's heart, as soon as the first strand of Mana entered the Mana's heart, it seemed like something broke inside him like a dam that was restricting his power broke and now Alex could feel energy rushing to his body.
This feeling was delightful, as Alex started bringing more Mana to his Mana's heart, he felt even more energy rushing through him.
But soon this joy was over as 2 hours were up and Alex had to stop his training.
And like this, 10 days went by.
For these 10 days, Alex has just been continuously training his physical body the whole day and cultivating Mana at night.
But today something different happened, as Alex was cultivating at night, he felt that his Mana has reached a pretty good quantity and as such he decided to attempt to open his very first meridian gate.
After carefully circulating the Mana from his Mana's heart to the meridians through his Mana's veins, he tried to push open the gate.
Of course, the gate wouldn't open so easily. Alex continued using Mana to try to open the gate and after a few minutes of continuous struggle, the gate finally budged.
Alex was ecstatic and continued to push open through the gate. By now 2 hours were almost up and Alex knew he would soon approach his limit and would have to stop his training, he didn't have much time left.
Finally, his body approached his limit and he could barely keep continuing for a few more minutes.
Alex made a note of breaking through the first gate in ten seconds or give up and continue tomorrow.
He started counting while at the same time continuously pushing Mana to the gate,

and finally, when only less than 2 seconds were left the gate opened and all the mana rushed inside and Alex felt a significant boost in his strength and energy.
After that, Alex was exhausted, he opened his eyes and noticed that he was covered in sweat from head to toe, Alex stood up, quickly took a bath and laid down on the bed, he fell asleep as soon as he laid down.

The next day in the morning Alex woke up early just like usual and got ready but before going to train on the ground just like usual, he sat on the bed in his room and called out the system.
"System, from what I heard it usually takes one month to absorb enough Mana to open the first meridian gate for an average person and about 20 days for a genius to do the same, opening the first gate in only 10 days is something only once in a century genius can do. It was already dinner time and his family was waiting in the dining hall for him.
After opening the gate of his room, he was greeted by the same maid from last night.
"Hello Emily, were you waiting for long?"
"Ah, N-No young master, I only came a moment ago. Let's go, Lord must be waiting. "
The maid's name was Emily, after Alex ordered, the chief of staff had assigned Emily as Alex's personal maid.
Alex and Emily made their way to the dining table.
Alex sat down at the table and his father said "So Alex, what do you plan to do tonight? Same schedule of cultivating Mana till midnight?"
"No Father, I have to do something else today, that is also what I wanted to talk to you about".
" Oh tell me, what do you wish to talk about, as long as you need anything, I will provide it to you. "
"Father, I wish for the key to Mana Chamber today. "
His father's eyes widened in surprise, not only his father but also his mother who hadn't spoken anything until now looked surprised.

Just like its name Mana Chamber is a small chamber with a high density of Mana inside.

After finding him Alex said," Good morning, mister Alfred, Father had told me to ask you for the key to Mana Chamber."
"Ah yes, young master here's the key, please be careful and don't touch anything unnecessary inside the room. Also please be safe, there's always the right time for everything, if you feel you can't do it today, it's better to wait for a better time."
"Don't worry, Alfred I will take care. "
With that Alex left for the Mana Chamber, it was at the centre of the Mansion near Alex's father's office and was the personal Mana chamber of his father.
There was a separate low-quality Mana Chamber for the Knights. Only the lord and his family and the Class 5 Commander knight were allowed to use this chamber which is of much better quality than the other one.
Alex went inside the Mana chamber and sat down in the middle.
A Mana chamber works by using Mana stones. Mana chamber collects pure Mana from Mana stones using formations as a basis and is hella expensive.
Even the Mana stone used to make them work cost a ton.
Alex activated the chamber and the density of Mana started to increase bit by bit.
As Alex used the Mana technique to collect Mana in his Mana heart, the Mana heart started to become bigger.
The previous heart which was just the size of a needle hole was now growing exponentially. It was close to becoming as big as a fingernail.
After a few minutes, the heart became as big as a toenail.
Then Alex started to carefully control his Mana and take it towards his second Meridian gate.
It took nearly five minutes to bring the Mana from Mana's heart to the gate.
After that Alex used his willpower and mental strength to make the collected Mana into the shape of a long sword.
Although the Mana actually didn't change shape, it was easier to control Mana when imagined as a sword.
Alex thought of the Meridian Gate as an actual gate and the Mana as a sword levitating in front of the gate.
Then he thought of the sword stabbing through the gate. By this, the Mana he had brought near the spot in his body where the second Meridian gate was located also started to attack the gate, although not in the shape of a sword.
By now, Alex was already sweating buckets.
He continued this process for another 20 minutes and finally, after 37 stabs, the door broke and with a final push, it burst open.
As soon as it happened, Alex felt a huge surge of energy in his body.
Now he was officially a Class 1 Knight.
The wave of energy travelled throughout the body cleaning and purifying the body on a profound level.
Alex was feeling intense pain as his whole body was being cleaned and even some of his bones were being restructured.
Not to mention that all the bones in his body were being broken and then being repaired to reinforce them.
It went like this for five minutes, during these five minutes, sounds of bones cracking could be heard multiple times.
A black-coloured stinky liquid was constantly coming out of his body for those five minutes.
After the process finished, Alex was covered in a pool of black sticky and stinky liquid but that couldn't hide his shining blue eyes and the large white teeth of his which were shown after a huge grin appeared on his face.
With a huge breath, Alex stood up and a look of excitement and determination could be seen in his eyes.
With this, Alex was now ready to initiate the first part of his plan.
While thinking about his exciting future, Alex walked towards the door.
What awaits him, only due time will tell.
