The Exams

We all thought that the barrier was just an ordinary one, never would we have imagined it to be this strong and impenetrable.

The first student was called and having the same mentality, he sauntered to the front of the whole students and stood before the golden barrier.

He began to wave his hand in a circular motion and soon, water particles began to form around his arms. When it had fully become a large ball of water, he shot it towards the barrier.

*Boom*

The sound filled the entire hall and everyone thought he had done it. But when the water died down, we looked at the barrier and unfortunately for him, it was still intact.

"Kid, you failed. Go back to your line!" The Dean had a disappointed look on his face as he spoke to the boy.

"I'm sorry," the boy mumbled and turned around and returned to where he was standing before.

"Next!" The Dean called.
