1 CHAPTER 1:

Oregon used to be one of the sunniest places, compared to the frosty days in Norway, where you could really feel warm from the sun. Not only was it known for the pretty views and beautiful landscapes, but the people were more than friendly there. They all treated tourists well and knew each other, they had friends between blocks and you could even "buy on credit" at kiosks. The owners were confident enough to know that customers weren't going to see their idiotic faces.

And Kimberly was playing that game too. Not because she saw that every time she greeted someone and turned around, they looked at each other in disgust or maybe because everyone there was just good-for-nothing bastards, but she had to have her own reputation. Several times she saw the gossiping neighbors tell each other that the Lee's daughter, Kimberly, was an "easy girl" and that they did not know the reality that she had actually only seen one boy in her entire life. . And that same he had taken it upon himself to make Kimberly see that the worn-out life she led was never going to be fixed. And that if she had decided to put her hands in the fire for him, she would end up burning.

But come on, who hasn't had a heartbreak for the first time? Who has not suffered an accusation of having slept with half the state and having been a complete bitch with the citizens there? Or has nobody ever been accused of having slept with the son of the owner of the tourist houses in Oregon? Come on…

But this year Kimberly was going to college and not risking her career to take care of her damn dignity, of course not. He had a head and thought very well with it.

Although the Lees had been frowned upon in these years because of a certain young woman, they knew how to raise their surname when it became known that the father of the family would be the deputy director of the company where she would work. Absolutely the whole town got up to praise the man, pat him on the back and warm his ear with nice words.

His mother was a well-known fashion designer and they had the possibility of living in good conditions, but let's say that the children lived in the shadow of the grown-ups and had to follow the prodigious dreams that they wanted them to follow.

The Lee family consisted of mom, dad, and her five children. Louis, Helena, Kimberly, Sophia, and Thomas. The youngest twins were only three years old and still wore diapers while Kimberly would turn 19 and enter college.

Louis and Helena were still studying their prodigies, law, and accounting, and they had no objection to it. Did they like it? Was it entertaining? Kimberly always saw them arrive at certain times at the university, enter her rooms and leave only when necessary. On her days off, they spent it locked up, reading books or sometimes meeting with her friends.

And although Helena included her sister several times in those meetings, Kimberly still did not have her designated friends. She alone had the friendship of a little girl, Victoria, they were almost 3 years apart, she was almost as crazy as her older sister.

Even though the Lees were always acidic to the idea of getting drunk, eating junk food, or just doing the wrong things, the older ones always helped Kimberly sneak out of her basketball practice to go over there for some strawberry soda. The ones that included huge whipped cream and left the minor's face stained. Although the older ones ended up reproaching them anyway, since they always found out the truth.

The Lee children always had a list of unruly children but the only one who weighed on that was Kimberly. Many times they branded her as a girl who was with anyone, who because they were poor before she would end up in ruin just like her family and would have to dedicate herself to selling herself to get a few pennies, and many, many erroneous predictions that they had of her. Of all those present, she was the one who was most used to social weight and tried to be the one who always dressed well, did homework and got 10 on her exams.

Over time, Kimberly built a new reputation for herself and she wouldn't let anyone or anything ruin it for her. After all, she was the only thing she depended on.

– You have piano lessons after your basketball training, Kimberly," her mother spoke up straight and she nodded without taking her eyes off the food. And you better go, because if not you and your brothers will end up sweeping the house for 2 weeks in a row –.

– Yes mom - she said Kimberly feeling like her brothers, under the table, step on her feet little by little, making her feel silly for being the only one who always answered for others –.

The tension was cut instantly when Thomas laughed to see how Sophia was stained with applesauce, the little girl raised her hand ready to hit him but her mother's voice made her retract her. She didn't want her to yell at him again after the last time she spilled her milk on her well-ironed clothes.

The twins, despite being very small, were not idiots. Her parents weren't either. They knew that they were gifted and that they would be the best future doctors in Oregon, who would get the bad reputation of their families and could live in peace.

Dinner ended and everyone went to their respective rooms to do their things. Kimberly got ready to go to her class when she suddenly heard a scream, she looked out the window curiously and saw a few teenagers having fun in the street. Something inside her chest was pressed to see them so happy, so smiling, so... True.

Kimberly couldn't remember the last time she had actually laughed. Maybe it was when she saw some TV show or YouTube video that made her feel really happy, but never with a friend. Not even with her own siblings or with Victoria, she just laughed a little and got on with her stuff.

She saw small stones fly between them and soon she saw how one of them flew towards her face, she appreciated the karate classes and was able to dodge it quickly. Instantly all the boys screamed and whistled at Kimberly's action, the little girl looked at them indignantly and showed, without any shame, her middle finger. The boys laughed again as they yelled and she decided to go into her room while she locked the window.

It wasn't that she mistrusted them, but the last time she had decided to trust and unlock the window, they had entered her room and it wasn't exactly a pleasant visitor.

Kimberly got ready and went straight to get her things while leaving her cell phone charging. She entered her sister's room and threw herself on her bed, the older one looked at her expectantly and the little one just looked curiously at the book.

– What do you read? She - she said, reading what little her eyes and position allowed her -.

– Something from the university, is not too entertaining -.

Little she read the title and just by reading the fat and big letters of "The Laws of Medicine" she felt that she was bored. She turned to see her and settled her in her place, sitting in the shape of an Indian.

– Do you like what you study? - The older one tilted her head and settled on the bed, making her back against the headboard –.

– What is this question about? - the best raised her shoulders, in a disinterested way, and the oldest sighed - I don't know... I mean, it's what our parents want but I don't know if I'd really like to be a doctor... I don't even know if I'm going to be able to face own problems and I already have to think about serving people I do not know –.

Kimberly looked expectantly at her sister, listening and absorbing the little information her sister was giving her. At 19, Kimberly still didn't understand things that could be easily deduced. She didn't have that typical teenage feel where you realize when something is not right, give advice or feel some kind of real affection towards someone. When she had it, everything went to the same shit and she had no intention of it happening again.

She heard the call of her mother in the distance and, after saying goodbye to her sister and then looking for her things, she went downstairs and received the food that her mother gave her. She would have to keep her weight stable if she wanted to compete in regionals for classical dance and basketball.

She put the things in her backpack and left there while the classical music played in the headphones, her teacher always asked her to listen to that music so she could memorize her steps well. She was pretty much the only thing she managed to consume without her parents scolding her for hearing inhuman crap. The last time she had heard anything other than Beethoven, it had been for Louis's birthday and they had allowed her to play just one Queen song. And the one that was more in line with the party or the oldest would be in big trouble.

Half Oregon and half the United States had come to her brother's birthday party, they were all teenagers accompanied by her wealthy parents. Although it was obvious that after that boring party, Louis would drink until he vomited on his own shoes while a pretty blonde looked at him just as lost as he.

She saw the same arrogant kids who had thrown the rock at him and he snorted when they started yelling at him that she was the famous bitch Kim, or as the slums had nicknamed her. She had no choice but to rush to get the nasty brats to stop telling her to invite them to a tea party. She was sick of listening to them, so she better keep calm than put on a show than the one in her bedroom window.

She came to her basketball classes and her coach punished her by exercising her for being five minutes late, she also forced her to do the blessed dunks, causing her muscles to end up almost stiff with pain.

When she finished, she showered in the club showers and arranged to go to her piano lessons. She was grateful that now her driver had looked for her and would take her, otherwise she would be worse off than her before her and would be ten minutes late. And her teacher wasn't too patient to say the least.

Her day later hers was based on that and when she got to her house, she locked herself in her room and started doing the spreadsheets that her private teacher had left for her for when she was gone. to the University.

Kimberly sighed in frustration at the end of her exercise 15 and after checking her notebook, she threw herself on her bed to rest. She took her cell phone and saw a message from Victoria, it had been sent 15 minutes ago and her friend hated that she answered late, but she nevertheless did it.

<< There will be a party on the beach. It's at night and it's for all the new Oregon neighbors. Do not be bitter and come, at your 19 years you are quite old. >>

Rio and she decided to ask her mother if she could go, the woman she replied that she should arrive before ten o'clock and that gave her permission to go. She got ready and soon called her friend who let him pass that she had responded late and they decided to meet in the driveway to go to the beach.

She soon her driver took her to the established place and in the distance she saw her friend along with three other girls, there she realized that she had to have gone with her brothers. When it came to parties where Victoria's friends were involved, she was often left out.

The youngest of her began to move her hand effusively so that Kimberly would notice her, she raised her hand and motioned for him to wait for her. The driver assured her that she would be waiting for her call if she needed it and she nodded hopefully that she was really like that, she was already counting the minutes to leave.

She trotted over to where her friend was and after hugging her, she introduced herself before the other girls. They seemed nice but Kimberly knew that they had heard the rumors, despite being very friendly you could see her alert trait for whatever happened to her. But they should not worry, the Kimberly from long ago was not the same as her now.

– Well, I want to believe that Lee is going to get drinks - Victoria said, hanging around her neck and putting on the best abandoned puppy face –.

– No joke, last time my parents almost killed you for throwing up her precious expensive bath – Kimberly said as she slipped out of her friend's grip as she smiled slightly.

– Oh please! Don't be a spoilsport - the older woman denied again and Vic snorted -. Okay, then you are the one in charge of trying not to get drunk because we brought beers -.

Lee laughed slightly thinking it was a joke, but looking down at the little cooler she told herself that he was no longer funny. And she too convinced herself that this would be one of the longest and most headacheful nights of her life.

﹃ ﹄

The party was going from bad to worse. The beer thrown in the sand, Victoria to the crown of alcohol, her friends who had chosen to absolutely vomit the entire basket and Kimberly that all she wanted was to go to her room and sleep until the damn headache passed.

She wasn't dizzy, nor was she too taken, but she couldn't put aside the fact that she was beginning to see her palm trees begin to speak to her. Sarcastically speaking.

– I miss fucking Nick! - Shouted one of Victoria's friends, catching Kimberly's attention – Damn, he was a real son of a bitch! -.

– Why is your voice suddenly so funny? - Said the red-haired friend who was next to her as she pointed at her and laughed for no reason -.

Shit, they're only 16… Kimberly thought.

Her guilt washed over her and she felt like a lousy adult not having taken the beers off their hands, and to top it off getting involved in bringing in some drinks to pass the time. She never thought all these things would get out of hand.

She soon she felt like the world was coming on top of her, her eyes were heavy and the urge to vomit on top of her friend's head didn't seem like such a bad idea. What did seem like a terrible option was to get up to go to the bathrooms on the beach and be able, at least, to discharge a little urine in the toilets. She was about to get on top of her.

She looked at her friend and bit her tongue when she saw her counting stars, she was fucking drunk. And Kimberly was hammering her fucking head that she was being irresponsible, surely she would have to take her to her house because if she arrived in those conditions, her mother would take care of throwing her out on the street and letting her sleep there .

"First dead to be taken by someone or some fucking ghost"

She carefully got up and looked at her friend, they connected glances from her and Victoria greeted her happily. After formulating a "Hi Kim, I haven't seen you for a long time!", Lee confirmed that her friend was missing. She would go relieve herself, she would call her driver and they would go to her house. There was no going back and no other option to take.

– I'll go to the bathroom, don't move from here or I'll put you in the water on the beach. And you know there are some fucking sharks willing to eat you – she said aloud so that her friend could hear her and her eyes fluttered when she received her friend's middle finger in response. Ungrateful rudeness – she whispered.

– What did you say, Kim!? - She heard the cry of her friend but she decided to ignore it, she wanted him to be ashamed -.

She felt that the floor was moving, it was Mother Nature's fault she wanted to move right now. Didn't she have mercy on her drunkenness? Now she was wondering if she really existed. Or could she be a religion that people created? She had no idea, but she was praying to all the saints that existed for her to make it safely to a toilet.

She feasted inside of her as she sat on the toilet and sighed quietly when she heard the glorious noise of her greatest need. She felt proud of not having the desire to vomit, she remembered, very ashamed, the time that at the house of one of her sister's friends she ended up vomiting on the shoes of one of the mariachis that she had attended for her birthday her. She never apologized as many times in her life as that night.

She heard a group of boys enter the bathroom and she cursed herself because the bathroom is unisex. She now she was cursing the one who invented that bathrooms are for everyone, why was there no privacy!? Please, pure bullshit.

– I swear she was beautiful! She had legs, damn it. I could lie down in them and… -.

She snorted annoyed when she heard the disgusting things of those mindless gorillas, and although she waited for 10 minutes for them to leave, she had a friend in the sand, drunk and with a huge need to go to sleep that she could not leave. So she, resigned, she deigned to leave after flushing and cleaning herself. The floor seemed more interesting than her trying to look at her face for those assholes who had started to whistle.

– Aren't you Kim? From her - he heard the voice of one behind her and felt her bile rise from her down her throat, she would vomit right there because of that fool –.

– The same one that will kick your testicles if you don't get out of here and stop bothering me - she said with total firmness and naturalness, she was used to saying those things when exposing herself to a society as macho as Oregon -.

Ha! You hit me? Please, you are just a little girl who knows how to

– cry and attract attention. Won't you call your daddy to come get you, rich little girl? -.

Tired of listening to him, she turned and let out all of her hatred from her through the great vomit she released on her shoes. And this time she would certainly not regret it. She had allowed herself to go up as much as possible and then make as much scent as possible. If she was going to leave, let her go with a good mess in her shoes.

She heard the yell of disgust from her friends and as the boy made a sound of disgust and amazement, she smiled maliciously and approached him to see them running away. She fluttered her eyes and took it upon herself to rinse her mouth well. She now she would have another damn rumor prowling the streets and you could see the sermon coming from her mother saying that she was a lady, a princess and that she should behave like one. She even listened to her mother's voice being just as authoritative as she was last time.

She heard the door open and when she looked in the mirror, she felt ecstatic as she saw a body enter the room. And she knew that she was not from there, she would have recognized it with the naked eye or know at least that she was someone's relative. Oregon wasn't that great when it came to meeting people.

Long black hair fell to her shoulders as she stubbed out her cigarette on the wall, the way her fingers were in charge of pulling her hair back and she gazed nonchalantly at the floor, it seemed mesmerizing. She even believed that she could make her an altar herself to that pair of lips that were in a straight line.

Her breath hitched as she passed over her back, without even noticing her, and she went straight to tend to her needs. She gasped and patted her face. At what point did she feel so suffocated by the mere presence of someone? But she knew perfectly well that it wasn't just that. There was more. He was expressing all that "I'm a bad boy, don't touch me" aura that her Kimberly wanted to go through. Is it also one of his masks? Will be real? Is it the effect of drunkenness?

And reality slapped her when she realized that she had been looking at that stranger for 1 minute, she felt that he was being a type of serial stalker. So she finished washing her face, hands, and rinsing her mouth. She wiped herself with paper and she again felt her passing by her side. She cursed that the place was almost on the verge of falling apart or it would have been disgustingly cliché to ask him for her number.

She moved her hands in search of release and as she turned around she fixed her gaze on the wall so she didn't have to meet glances, but she weakly did. She looked up and felt her legs tremble when she noticed that he was looking at her too. But compared to Kimberly, who was looking at him as if he had God in front of her, he was simply staring out of curiosity. Carefree. No intention of wanting to prove anything to you.

So she did the same. She put on the best girl face of her bad of her and left there, pretending to have her chest on top of her. With a little less alcohol on her, she took a deep breath and turned to her friend. She would soon tell him about the new rock tourist she had met.

And what a rock-loving Greek god she saw.

She called her driver and she felt like an old woman when she saw that it was just 03:20 a.m. Was she really going to call him now? Yes. She had a fucking headache that was breaking her soul in two and she was sure that even she could cry for a pill to ease the pain. And she knew Victoria would be the same or worse tomorrow morning.

So she called her driver, who answered happy to go and look for her, and took her friend by the hand of her to lift her up.

– You - she pointed to the three minors of hers and they turned to see her -, call her parents to come and get them -.

– Oh, we were hoping you would take us – the blonde said shyly and Kimberly laughed not at all amused

– Am I your driver? I hardly know them, so call their families. Victoria goes with me -.

The girls gave Kimberly a bad look and pulled out their cell phones to call their headlines. It was worth two acres of shit for Kimberly to be mad at her, they had no right to claim anything from her when they didn't even know about her. How did they trust strange people like that!? They barely knew how to wash their bottoms!

She was grateful that her relatives lived near the beach and had come along with her driver, she did not want to have to deal with some drunk who wanted to talk with them when they were not in the conditions. She said goodbye to them and got in the car.

– Will Miss Victoria come home? - Kimberly nodded she as she accommodated her friend in the back seat of her, put the lock on the doors and went to the front seat – Okay, then we can go -.

She drove off to the Lee's house and she was grateful that the road was quiet, the beach music starting to sound more like an unbearable ringing in her ears than electronic music. She could already see the beach attendants coming cleaning everything until the wee hours of the morning. Because she was sure that everything would end around 06:00 a.m., if there were still people. And is that Kimberly had witnessed having collected everything to stay last. Wanting to watch the sunset while she listened to Skrillex in the background hadn't been a very good idea, let's say.

Kimberly came in with the help of her driver to carry Victoria, they went upstairs and took care of leaving the child sleeping on the mattress. They could have slept together, but the smell of alcohol Victoria was giving off was just gross and Kimberly felt like she would vomit right there if she wasn't at least 6 feet away from that gross.

The maids brought the mattress, sheets and blankets to make Victoria's makeshift bed while Kimberly took care of stripping her friend of her clothes and putting her pajamas on her. Although she preferred that he sleep with a t-shirt of her brother, Kimberly was less robust in breasts than Victoria and seeing that her t-shirts were totally tight, made him want to bet with her wall until how much they held her breasts. She pressures her. So she decided to steal a shirt from her older sister and put it on her friend.

After helping Victoria lie down and deal with the times when she had love fits, hugs and cuddles, she was able to tuck in and go to sleep. But even though she had already taken her sleep medication, she had fucking insomnia. And it wasn't from Victoria's snoring, or the sound of blades blowing in the wind outside her window, or her own breathing. Rather, there were a pair of black eyes, long hair, and fucking sexy fingers that inhabited her head.

– I'm going crazy ... - she laughed at herself and turned to go to sleep -.
