Valentine's Day! (Part-1)

"Hurry up, Mia….We'll get late for the school…" Jun shouted from the corridor outside the kitchen. "What are you still doing in the kitchen?" And saying this he entered the kitchen to see Mia at the counter, her head held in both of her hands and her eyes stretched up due to it.

There was a box in front of her about which he didn't know about.

"What's with all this?" Jun asked confused. "You okay?"

"Ughhhhh..." Mia just growled and then slammed her head on the counter with a 'Thud'.

"Yo Yo…..Slow down there…." Jun went near her and then holding her shoulders he got her up. "What's wrong?"

And at that time, he also saw what was there in the box; there were some chocolates in them.

"Don't tell me…..You made this?" He said as he stretched his arm and took one out from the box.

'Are these supposed be to be heart shaped?' Jun thought as he looked at them, 'What do I do with this girl?....She really is terrible at this!'

"They are terrible, aren't they?" Mia asked without even looking at him, as if she knew what he was thinking.

"…..Umm…" Jun hesitated.

"I know they are Jun. Huhhhhh…." Saying that, she again slammed her head on the counter.

"Careful there missy…..Your brain is the only thing you have!"

Mia looked up. "Yeah Yeah...Go ahead. Make fun of me….."

"Okay then…..I won't…..Now tell me what the problem is?"

"Can't you see? These chocolates! These chocolates are the problem!

They are horrible. How am I supposed to give these to anyone?"

"Wait!...So you want to give chocolates to someone? YOU? On Valentine's day?"

"…..No…..I'm not gonna give this to anyone now….." She whined.

"O-kay. So what is the problem then? You made chocolates. They are not good. So you can't give them to anyone. Problem solved!" Jun shrugged his shoulders.

"Aaaaaaahhhhh..." She got up. "You will never understand this!" And with that she stepped out from the kitchen with heavy steps and gloomy face.

"Huhhhh….." Jun sighed loudly.

Then he tossed the piece of the chocolate in his mouth. His lips got curved in a smile. 'Oh Mia! How can you make something so simple taste so awful?'

"You are coming or not…." Mia's gloomy voice came from outside.

"Yeah…." Saying that, Jun quickly packed that box in his bag and went outside.

"Hello girls~" Mia said as she met all her friends in the hallways.

But her greetings were not accompanied with the usual smile of hers. All the girls noticed it.

"Hey, what's wrong?" April asked.

"You don't look like usual." Ye Rin said.

"Nothing guys….I just feel like I'm not born for Valentine's day...Huhhhh….."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Hana asked.

"These chocolates….I cannot do all this…."

"Why? What happened?"

"They were terrible! My chocolates! I am not good at making those…." Mia sighed again.

Girls exchanged glances with each other.

"Do you really want to give those to someone?" So Hee asked.

Mia didn't answer.

"It's okay Mia, if you don't have any. It's not like you have to make all these things. You can still buy some from the nearby shop…" April tried to encourage her.

"No guys….It's okay…..I've accepted the fact that I can't do this….." And with those words Mia walked towards her classroom.

"Mia?" April called. But Mia didn't stop.

"Let her be." Ye Rin said. "She'll be back to her real self in no time. Don't worry."

"So? Everyone brought their chocolates?" Ye Rin asked.

Girls took out the boxes from their bags and opened them.

Hana's small heart shaped and April's bunny shaped chocolates were looking really cute.

When everyone looked at So Hee's chocolates, their jaws dropped in surprise.

Her chocolates were neatly organized, were wrapped properly and were looking beautiful. Like they've had made by professionals.

"Wow!!!" Hana said.

So Hee flicked her hair back being proud in herself.

"Wait wait wait!" Ye Rin interrupted as she took her face closer to the box and narrowed her eyes to have a better look.

"These are not the chocolates which you made yesterday!" She said now looking at So Hee with narrowed eyes.

"W-What?...No…..I made them yesterday….." So Hee said somehow, as the gaze of Ye Rin was making her uncomfortable.

"Really?" Ye Rin asked again.

"…..Yeah…..I mean…..Okay. These are not the chocolates which we made together. These are the ones which I made when you all went home as the earlier ones turned out to be…..horrifying…." Till the last word, So Hee's voice went lower and lower.

"And?" Ye Rin raised an eye brow.

"And I made them with the help of our chefs!" So Hee looked down in shame but the next second she looked up saying, "So what? It's not important who made these….These are for Ray and no one can deny that truth!"

All the three girls shook their heads in denial.

"Sorry?" So Hee said laughing goofily.

Jun was sitting at his seat as he tossed one more chocolate from the box in his mouth.

"Hey man!" Ray came to him with a cheerful smile. "Enjoying the Valentine's chocolates?"

"…..Enjoying?.....If you were me, you wouldn't say it." Jun replied calmly.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

Jun just offered the box to Ray without saying a word.

Ray picked up one chocolate, looked at it for second and then carefully took a small bite.

"....Oh! Ohhh…..What is it? It's so….I don't know. I can't find a word to describe it. How can you eat these?" And as he was about to put that chocolate piece away.

"Before you do that….I just want to tell you that Mia has made these!" Jun answered and then observed Ray's face to see his reaction.

Ray quickly took his hand back to him. "What?"

"Yep!" Jun nodded. "Do you still wanna throw these?"

Ray said nothing further and just tossed the piece in his hands in his mouth.

Keeping the face as straight as possible, Ray chewed it down.

Jun was now really enjoying this, controlling his laughter, he offered one more chocolate to him.

Hesitantly Ray took it.

"So?" Ray said. "Is this the only box you've got?"

"Oh no. There were 2-3 boxes in my shoe shelf while…..there are still some of the boxes here…." Jun pointed towards the compartment below his desk.

"Oh!" Ray bent down to see. "Same with me…" He said and pointed towards his desk.

Not only the compartment but the top of the desk was also covered with the colorful boxes.

"And all of them are anonymous." Ray added.

"Yeah…If we want to thank, to whom we should?"

"You guys are lucky!" JinKyu came from nowhere and said. "Popular guys like you get everything and there are the others…like me, who doesn't even get a single chocolate…" He said sighing.

Jun and Ray exchanged glances.

Then Ray hurriedly went towards his desk and chose one of the big boxes. Taking out the moulds in which chocolates were decorated he emptied it.

And then one by one he started putting the chocolates from the other boxes into that big box.

As Jun realized what he is trying to do, he also got the boxes and went towards Ray's desk. Copying with his actions he also poured the chocolates in the box.

As these two were doing this, Jin Kyu along with the other classmates started looking at what they are doing.

Soon a great heap of chocolates filled the whole box.

Classmates started whispering in between them.

Then Ray lifted the box in his hands and went towards the back of the class where the shelves were. He kept the box in the middle.

While Jun went towards his desk, taking out a paper he wrote something on it and then going towards the chocolate box he kept the paper there.

Then both the boys came back towards Jun's desk.

As they did it, all the classmates went towards the box to see what was all this about.

And there was the paper on which it was written in bold letter.

"IF YOU ALSO LIKE SOMEONE, PICK ONE!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO EVERYONE! "

Everyone gasped as soon as they read it.

Jun and Ray looked at each other and gave a nod.

"This was a great idea, Ray."

"Hmm....This way, we wouldn't have to struggle to think about what should we do with all these and plus....everyone else is happy!" Ray beamed a smile.

Soon, in no time the chocolates in the box went to the bottom.

With 4-5 chocolates in his hands, Jin Kyu came towards the boys.

Smiling widely he ate one of them.

"Jin Kyu…" Ray said. "You are supposed to pick only one!"

"Yeah….I know….But there are more than one girls which I like!" Jin Kyu answered.

Jun and Ray again looked at each other. "Hahaha….." They started laughing.

"You are just great buddy! Just great!" Jun said.

"Hey…" Jin Kyu said as he saw something on Jun's desk. "You forgot that box!"

"NO!!!" Ray and Jun shouted at the same time.

Startled Jin Kyu took a step back. "Okay….Okay…." He said and went towards his seat giving both of them a weird look.

Ray and Jun sighed inside before looking at each other and giving a weak smile.
