At the Hospital.

"Mrs. Lee?" A nurse came out from the ICU and walked towards the seats where all of them were sitting.

They stood up in nervousness.

"What happened nurse?" Mother asked.

"He is nearly conscious now." The nurse said and the frowns on everyone's faces disappeared.

"Really?"

"Yes! And doctor said that one or two of you can meet him."

Everyone's faces lit up with happiness.

"But one person at a time and please don't let the patient talk or move much. Okay?"

"Yes. Yes. Thank you so much nurse." Mother said as her eyes started welling up .

The nurse smiled and walked away.

Mother looked at everyone with teary eyes. Mia and Jina came closer to her, each one holding each of Mother's hands.

"Go inside, mom." Mia said. "Go see him."

Mother nodded, wiped her eyes and went inside.

After around 5 minutes, she came out.

Jun came forward, offering her his handkerchief and made her sit down.

She sat down as both of her daughters came and sat beside her.

"He's fine…"Mother said tapping her eyes. "He talked with me a little."

Both, Mia and Jina got relieved.

"Thank you so much god!" Mother said looking up towards the sky. "Thank you so much."

"Jina, now go and see him." Mia said looking at her.

"No. no. Sis, you go and see him, I'll see him later."

"Listen Jina, you go see him and after that you take mom home…"

"What? What are you saying?" Mother said. "I'm not going anywhere."

"Mia is right, aunty." Jun said. "You two have been here for hours. You must be tired. I suggest you two to go home, freshen up a little, take a little rest and then come back here with some food for him and some clean clothes too."

"Yes, mom." Mia said. "Jun and I are here and Father is also alright now. So you two go ahead, we'll look after him."

Mother looked at Jina, she nodded understandingly.

After around 15 minutes, Jina and Mother headed back to their home.

Mia and Jun were sitting in the sitting area.

"Huhhhh…." She let out a deep sigh. "I'm relieved that he's getting better."

"Hmm…"

"Juna…." She said as she gentle kept her tired head on his shoulder.

"Yeah?" He asked softly.

"…Can I ask you something?"

"….Yeah, go ahead…."

"….Nothing…"

"Oh come on, what is it?" He asked.

"Will you be always there for me?"

"Yes!" He said without hesitating.

"Always?" She asked again.

"Yes. Always!" He said again.

"…Yeah I knew it…."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"…."

"Mia?"

"…."

But no answer. He slightly bent forward to find out that she was fast asleep on his shoulder.

'Was she talking in sleep?' He thought.

He saw her calm sleeping face which was obviously looking tired. 'Poor girl…She must have been drained due to all this…' He thought to himself.

Around 10 minutes later, Jun saw Ray walking towards them in the corridor.

Both of them saw each other; Ray increased his pace.

He came and saw Mia sleeping on Jun's shoulder, then he looked at Jun. "How's he now? What did doctor say?" He asked in a whispering voice.

"He's out of danger now. Getting better."

"Where are the others?"

"Aunty and Jina went home to get some things…"

"Ohh…"

"…."

"…"

"And how's she?" Ray asked looking towards Mia.

"She was really stressed but now she's better. Tired but better."

Ray nodded understandingly and sat beside Mia.

No one said anything for a while. Jun broke the silence, "Do you need anything? Coffee? Tea?"

"Oh. No. No. I'm fine. And even if I'll need anything I'll get it. Actually I should ask if you need anything."

"….Umm…No…But can you do one thing?"

"Yeah?"

Jun gently held Mia's head and lifted it up a little. "Hold her."

"Huh?"

"Will you hold her? Don't let her wake up. I need to go to washroom."

"…Oh…Um…Yeah Yeah���" Saying, Ray carefully held her and pulled her towards him, letting her head rest on his shoulder.

Jun quietly got up. "And I'll also bring something for us to eat from the canteen downstairs. She hasn't eaten anything…"

"If you would have told me earlier, I would have brought it." Ray said.

"Oh no no. Its' fine. I'll take care of that, don't worry. And besides, she needs you here by her side."

"…"

"It's okay…I'll go…"

"…Okay…"

Jun headed towards the elevator as he kept reminding himself that whatever he was doing was for the good of everyone.

Nurses and doctors were passing by, as Ray and Mia were sitting there.

Suddenly, 'Bzz Zzz…Bzz Zzz!"

The sound of a phone vibrating made Ray look over the seat, on the other side of Mia.

'Oh! Jun forgot his phone here…' Ray thought. He stretched his arm towards the phone but he couldn't reach. The phone stopped ringing.

After a minute, the call came again. 'Shoot!' Ray leaned towards the side and stretched his arm to get the phone, in this whole struggle, Mia woke up.

"Uh? Umm…" She woke up startled. "…Ray? What-When did you come?"

"Um…I-I just came…"

She rubbed her eyes and looked around, "Where is Jun?"

"He went downstairs to the canteen…"

"Ohh..."

"Yeah…And he forgot his phone…"

"What?"

"See over there…" He pointed towards the seat.

"Oh yeah…" She took the phone in her hands.

"Someone was calling…" Ray said.

Mia turned on the screen and there were 18 missed calls from Mu Yeol.

'Huh? Mu Yeol? Why did he call these many times?' As she was thinking that, the phone started vibrating again, with Mu Yeol's name popping on the screen.

"It might be some kind of emergency…." Saying that to herself she picked up the phone, "Hel—"

Before she could even say anything, Mu Yeol started firing from the other side of the phone. "DOH JUN! HAVE YOU GONE CRAZY?"

"Where the hell are you? I have been calling you since morning. I went to your dorm and your roommate said, you stepped out early morning. I'm calling you and you are not picking up. What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Uh…"

"Nope. Don't you ever say anything any further and just bring your *** back here. In half an hour the signing of the contract will take place. So I don't care where you are nor do I care what you are doing. I want you here in 10 minutes. Bye."

And he hung up the phone.

Mia was shocked. Whatever she had just heard was just unbelievable.

Looking at her stoned face, Ray asked, "Mia? What's wrong? What happened?"

"…."

"Mia?"

"…..Jun had his contract signing today…" She murmured to herself.

"Heh? What?"

"Jun had his contract signing today!" She said as her hand with the phone dropped down on her lap.
