A Whole New Start!

"Dear Diary,

As you know already, it has been two years since the day….the day when I found Ray's letter. I found it and when I read it….I just couldn't believe that the girl was me!.... To whom he was going to confess….. It was me who broke his heart! ….Who hurt him…..

Right after that, I called him….several times but the call wasn't being connected….So I ran to his house….But he wasn't there….There was no sign of him….

And so, when I called April to ask about him….I got the news…..That he had left Korea to America….And had already gone to live with his father….

You already know it, diary….You know how much I suffered when I heard about it….The thoughts of him leaving the country, probably because of me was just burning my heart….He liked me, diary….The guy I liked, liked me back!

But being me the unfortunate one, our story never even got a chance to begin...

The buds burnt before they could even bloom…

I wish….I always wished, if I had just found that letter….Then….Then maybe everything would have been so different….Maybe, we'd have been together still together….

You must be thinking, why I am telling you all this again….

Well….I am going to Seoul….

I have got the admission in the college I have always wanted….and so I'll be leaving this city, this house, my parents and now will be living in Seoul….So now I just want to leave these feelings, these memories back here and just start everything from zero….Though I buried myself in studies, but his thought still bothered me in the nights….And I just don't want that happen to me anymore….

I want a whole new start….a glorious beginning….Just like a very new morning….

Wish me luck….Cheers to the beginning….Fighting!!!

And I know, you are always there for me whenever I'm in trouble….As you are the only one who knows how I feel….

Mia got down on the station with a huge bag in her hands and a backpack on her back.

"Huhhh…" She breathed out loudly as she pulled the bag towards a side and stood it up.

Taking out the phone from her pocket she looked at the screen.

'I had told him to come here by 2….Where is he?' She was thinking as she looked around to find the expected face.

But the huge crowd showed no sign of him. Just the people getting on or getting out of the train in hurry.

It wasn't her first time in Seoul. She had come here couple of times so now this all crowd was a little familiar to her.

Looking at the big clock hanging on her head, she decided to walk out of the station on her own.

'I guess he has forgotten again….Let him come….He's gonna just get hit harder this time…Or this time, I'll punch him in the stomach….or just kick his a**….'

Thinking this to herself, she took faster steps towards the exit.

And soon she found herself standing in front of the huge escalator.

She looked at her luggage and then again at the escalator.

'Ughhh!!!'

Bracing herself up, she pulled back the sleeves of her jacket and then taking a deep breath she picked up her heavy bag in her hands and stepped towards the escalator.

"Ugh..Uhm…." She stepped on. "…There we g-go…" As she kept the bag down with a big thud, she didn't realize that the right wheel of the bag was out of the step, and the whole weight of the bag pulled the bag backwards along with her.

"Oh! Aah!" As she was about to scream out loud, while one of her feet in the air, she falling backwards, something strong and firm supported her from the back.

Expecting an impact, she had closed her eyes, but as nothing had happened and she had felt something holding her shoulders, she slowly opened her eyes.

Mia turned her head and there she found Jun!

He was holding both of her shoulders with his strong hands, her head was resting on his wide and hard chest and he had also stopped the falling bag with his right leg.

She just kept looking at him, with her eyes wide.

The escalator was slowly going up. The people going down from the adjacent escalator were now staring at them; while some were giggling and commenting something in between them.

Noticing it, Jun pushed Mia hard in front, "Can't you stand up straight? My hands are hurting!" He said with the cold tone.

As Mia stood up properly and brushed her clothes, clearing her throat as she was really embarrassed about what had happened a second ago.

In time, Jun picked up the bag and kept it properly.

Both of them got down from the escalator as they reached the top.

"T-Thank you…" Mia said somehow as she just wanted to break the awkward silence.

"You are of no use. You can't even get on the escalator on your own!" He said as he rolled the bag with him towards the exit, Mia following him in hurry.

With his long steps, she literally had to run behind him.

"I'm sorry…" She said. "…The bag was too heavy…"

But as she was saying this, she realized something, "Wait! Why am I apologizing? It's you who should apologize first!"

Jun didn't react and kept walking as they came out on the road.

"Where were you huh? I told you to come here at 2. I was waiting for you, but you were nowhere to see. So I started walking, and then all that happened. So it's you who's at the fault now. Understood?"

As Mia was busy talking, Jun stopped a taxi and kept the bag in the back.

"Why didn't you come on time?" Mia was still talking.

Keeping his quiet, Jun held Mia from the back and slightly pushed her inside the taxi, making her sit.

She slid to the other side, expecting Jun would be coming in too but instead he closed the door.

"Huh?" Mia quickly got towards the window and looked out. "What are you doing? Aren't you coming?" She asked innocently as she saw him, looking at her from the outside.

"I am busy." He said and folded her arms.

"B-But—"

"To the Seoul University!" He said loudly looking at the driver from the window and tapped on the taxi head.

"Huh?"

And before Mia could understand anything, driver started the taxi.

With the confused face, Mia could do nothing but just look at Jun going behind.

Jun sighed to himself and started walking in the opposite direction.

Mia sat back, her hands folded and her cheeks puffed. 'You meet me next time, Do Jun. I'm gonna…I'm gonna….Ughhh!!!'
