3 Negotiations

Loki came closer and looked into Satou's eyes and said in a dignified voice "we got some things to set straight here"

he said without much difference in tone "You are dead Mr. Satou. You cannot go back to Earth anymore"

Satou despite being calm has let out a sigh at Loki's words. He was disappointed to be clearly told what he already guessed. People in general are selfish beings, they believe what they wanna believe till the reality comes knocking down on them. It was one such moment for Satou. Till that point he thought there might be a way somehow without any reasonable thought. It really is a situation of being poured Ice cold water after a day in Sun. Reality has hit him hard.

Now he wondered why for so long he adjusted and tried to get along with others even though he saw their ugly side. In the end, if he looked back the only thing he saw was an obedient person, more like a slave who doesn't even say even when hit with rocks. Till now he only thought one day I'll get better, I'll become moderately rich at least, I'll be respected and continue to bear the shame and move on. Now, he wonders what's the point of all that.

With some conflicting thoughts and some realities, his mind was a mess. Then he heard a snap from Loki's fingers, Loki managed to get his attention.

Loki: "While it's true that you'll have to abandon your old life, you can choose to have a new life in another world."

Satou wasn't moved. he just thought it might be to cover or compensate for that Jr. Goddess who's contemplating how to get out of this case. He said "Fine, I'll move on. It's not like I got much of a choice here"

Loki: "Ah Ah Ah!!! It also comes with a duty. You gotta save Humanity in that World."

Satou: "What !!! Do I look like a pushover? Is that the kind where I'll have to keep fighting for people and stuff with barely any personal life. I'm done I don't have any intention of being a corporate slave again." he was visibly shaken to know that he's being given a job again.

Loki: "Then you can say good bye to your life because that's your only option you either go the world we mention and do what you're told or there won't be a next life. Isn't it a good way for changing your Worthless life on Earth?" Loki said in an irritated tone.

Satou: "Fine. Just end my life. It's not the first time a God decided to end my life. It's my fault for expecting that a cousin of that undeserving Jr. Goddess will be any different." said with an irritated tone with visibly angry eyes

Loki was perplexed. This is because he already sent a tail when Yumei went to Earth. That tail was supposed to get the details of the human whoever Yumei targets and he did get a report from that tail. It was clearly mentioned that Satou was a mild and easy going guy with a good character. Guess he changed a lot after meeting Yumei. He looked towards Yumei with angry eyes but Yumei was still in her own thoughts. He tried to appease Satou and compromise.

Loki: "You seem to misunderstand something here. It's not like you gotta always live for people, It's just that you need to make sure that Humanity survives. Like you just need to save a 1 or 2 hundred even if the rest of the Humanity is dead. And that world is not in an urgent situation so it takes years for the threat to manifest and you can slowly power up while having your own personal life and take it easy. Besides, you're gonna have full memory of your previous life so you can use your knowledge of previous life to get some advantage over others in that world. And finally do not compare me to Yumei :( "

Loki has sent off the remaining souls early to get here. It's mainly because he loves to play and Yumei has done something she shouldn't have. He came here hoping to have some fun and fix this situation.

Although he got the choice to choose the soul to send to the other world, he didn't send the previous souls because he doesn't wanna send souls for no reason. He thought he can send Satou to otherworld which is in need since he's mild and obedient. So he sent off other souls and now there are no other souls available. And the clock to that world is ticking. If he doesn't send a soul by today he's gotta write a report. He doesn't have much of a choice because no other souls are coming today.

Satou: "Whatever. After being killed I got a choice to die or work, of course I'm gonna choose to die. It's not like I'm getting anything in return for doing your work."

Loki: "What do you mean? We're giving you a life in another world"

Satou: "Oh I get it. Since my life is worthless you can take it away and then kindly give me another life to work for you. Do I look like a joke to you?"

Loki realized that Satou has changed and he gotta compromise to deal with this situation or he won't get anywhere.

Loki: "Okay you think it's an unfair deal right. Tell me what you want and we can make some exceptions and add that for you."

Satou: "What do I know. I don't even know what I'm facing, where I'm going, who I'm gonna be. Without knowing anything how can i know what to ask."

Loki: "Oh, I can't say much of the threat but that world and the person who you're gonna be is familiar to you. You're gonna be transmigrated into Boruto as Boruto, son of Naruto." he added seeing Satou's reaction "Guess I don't need to elaborate"
