Kyrell knew that he was being manipulated by this merman, but he chose to stay ignorant to learn more about his motive in approaching a powerless prince like him rather than his brother the eagle king. But the words he heard from him left him baffled for quite some time, 'He had a predestined mate?' that was hard for him to believe. Then the merman said that someone stole his spot beside his mate and he had to admit that it irked him.

All his life, he never cared about giving up something that he liked or wanted because he was used to that. His brother always warned him to not covet his seat and he gladly did that.
