Alac yawned as he stretched his hands up. He had barely slept a wink. The thought of what had really happened between him and Alia bothered him. 

What if something had really happened between them? Did that mean he stood a chance of being a Father? Was he ready for that?.

No, he wasn't. 

  He doubted that he had healed yet, healed enough to send his forever with another woman who wasn't Aliya, not just her namesake.

  He had to ask, had to be sure. He wanted to know what to expect and what not to. 

  He turned around to see the other side of the bed empty, she wasn't there.

Where could she be? Did she leave without telling him?.

  He sat up on the bed to see her laying down in the corner of the room.

Why didn't she sleep on the bed? Was she angry with him?.
