26 25 - Letter

Alaia froze and stopped in her tracks when she heard Maria's voice. It was strange to hear it because the time hadn't even struck 5 a.m. Maria was supposed to be still sleeping soundly. The only people that should be awake already are the people that have business to do early in the morning and Maria didn't belong to that group. 

Alaia carefully walked towards the ajar door and peeked outside to check if she was right in assuming that Maria was already awake. She frowned when she saw Maria and Ivan just outside the front door. It seemed like Maria ran to catch up with Ivan as she tried to catch her breath while standing in front of Ivan. While Ivan, who was probably preparing to leave and just waiting for Alaia, Leo, and Jace, was also surprised to find Maria.

"Maria." He called, surprised as his brows arched up.
