Maria only got back to her senses when she heard Alaia curse loudly and told herself to wake up. Maria frowned, didn't understand why Alaia said that and why she acted like that at first. It took her another ten seconds to finally realize what was happening to the green-eyed woman and when she did, she scratched her cheek as she shyly looked away from Alaia for a second, thinking of the right words to say. Now that they were only a few steps away from each other, she was starting to be nervous, making her forget about the things that she had planned to say since she remembered everything. She knew that she should first apologize, but she couldn't get the right timing. She knew that she had sworn that the moment she had seen Alaia, she would wrap her in a tight hug, kiss her lovingly and drag her to bed for mind-blowing sex, but the situation made everything difficult for her to do.
