Astras' blood and the swords:II

In the previous chapter:

Hitoshi arrived at the world of unknown,the world of blood sucking monsters.

:Present time:

"Hey there Hitoshi,how have you been?",a male voice asked Hitoshi.

"Better than ever,what about you Mathew?",Hitoshi asked while looking at his younger cousin.

"I'm good",Mathew replied while looking Hitoshi.

"Are you sure that the Astras' are gonna attack today?",a serious tone asked.

"I am sure,besides today is the best day for them to attack,the ceremony will be held in a few days,they can't find a better chance than this",Hitoshi asked while observing the positions of the guards.

"You got a point there",Harris replied from behind.

"I arranged the guards as you told me to,Hitoshi",another voice joined them.

"Thank you William,the Astras' don't really have that much number of spells in their hands,they rely on their number",Hitoshi said while looking at the castle.

There were four of them,four princes of the four kingdoms.This parallel dimension was ruled by vampires.Among the nine dimensions,it was the most advanced one.Be it in terms of spells,warriors,academics or rulers.This whole dimension was known as "Luciana",which was divided into four equal parts.The four parts were ruled by four kings.The Astras' were from the third dimension,who were continuously trying to steal the "Scroll of Four Great Spells".This scroll was very precious to rulers,which was protected by a spell cast by the great grandfather of the four princes.The scroll was protected at the central castle,which the Astras' were planning to attack.The werewolves and the vampires weren't really united from the past.Their rivalry made it hard for them to get along.

"Are the Astras' aware that we have prepared to fight them?",Mathew asked.

"No,everyone is told that we are holding a meeting regarding the scroll.The security is tight,so they won't be able to form a back up plan",replied Harris.

They all took their positions.Something wasn't right about the Astras,but what?Hitoshi was thinking about a lot things.He had a feeling that the third dimension's kingdom wasn't aware about the situation.

"All the necessary measures are taken,do you have any idea when they will attack?",William asked Hitoshi.

"Two of their soldiers have already invaded the castle",Hitoshi replied keeping his voice low.

"Just as I expected",William mumbled before turning around.

"William wait,we will protect the scroll,Harris and Mathew have already taken care of them",Hitoshi said in a commanding tone.

"Wait",William warned Hitoshi as he could sense someone's presence.

Hitoshi nodded while looking at William.He was trying to sense their number.

"2,3...4",Hitoshi thought to himself.

"There are four of them",William signalled Hitoshi.

The two of them carefully went inside the room through the security vent.William knocked down two of them.Hitoshi didn't,because they needed some extra informations.

"We'll get out their plans out of these two",Hitoshi said while looking at the two soldiers.

"We are not going to spill anything!",one of them screamed while running towards Hitoshi.

Hitoshi dodged his attack and said,"This is all you got?Are Astras' this weak ?".Sarcasm was audible in his voice.

After a close combat with the two soldiers,they couldn't get a single word out of their mouth.

"They didn't actually spill anything,we just wasted our time",William said while looking the four senseless figure.

"We don't need them anymore",Hitoshi said before slicing them with his sword.

"Geez...can't you do it without spilling so much blood?We don't want to lose control over ourselves now",William complained.

"Sorry,old habit dies hard",Hitoshi said with that blood chilling smile of his.

"Their blood smells nice though",Hitoshi added while looking at mess he has created.

"Let's hunt them down",William said while holding out his scythe.

By that time,more Astra soldiers had invaded the castle.There number was bit more than they had expected.

"Now this is what I call having fun!",Mathew screamed in joy while slicing the Astras without any mercy.

It was like the four of them had gone insane suddenly,they were killing them as is if they were removing weeds from the back yard of their houses.Until the Chief General of their army had invaded the battlefield.He was surprisingly able to dodge the attacks of the guards along with attacks Mathew and William was throwing.

"He is one strong fella",Harris said as his attacks didn't work him either.

"We need to take him down or else it will create a huge opportunity for them",Hitoshi thought to himself before starting to cast a spell.

"Guards and you guys stop the other soldiers,I'll take him down!",Hitoshi yelled while running towards the Chief General.

"Sword dance of Hanao!",Hitoshi yelled the name of the technique he was going to use.

He swung his sword and started running in such a direction that it became hard to see him.

"I wonder if you can dodge this attack~?",Hitoshi in said such a tone that scared the man.Finally he was able to stab him in the shoulder.Blood started to rush out.

"Your blood certainly has a very appetizing aroma",he said in a tone that made the man shiver.

"Y-you are a m-monster",he said before falling on the ground.

"Maybe I am?",he said before turning around.

After another two hours of continuous blood shedding,all the Astras were taken down.

"It was easier than I thought",William said while looking at the pool of blood.

"What?They are already wiped out?I thought there were more of them",Mathew said while looking around.

"They were not trained well.According the information I collected,they are like a huge group of bandits and the kingdom didn't send them",Harris said while looking at the other two.

"That's why they were not that strong",said William.

"Well now we can have a feast",Hitoshi said while dragging some bodies.

"I'll ask the servants to filter their blood",said Harris.

"But wouldn't that destroy the fresh taste?",William asked.

"No it won't,idiot,they are werewolves remember?It would be a disgrace if we don't filter the blood",Harris mocked William.

"Who are you calling an idiot,you dimwit?",William exaclaimed.

"Cut it out,you two",Mathew said as an attempt to stop them.

Blood of the werewolves were one of the favourites of the vampires.Though it was illegal for any vampire to hunt a werewolf but,it permitted if the Astra or the werewolf was defeated in the battlefield.Then drinking it would symbolize the victory of vampires.

"You know it was hard to cast that anti-healing spell on my sword",Mathew said while looking at his sword.

"It's called 'The Spell of Emithelia',Mathew",William corrected Mathew.

After a while the servants were done purifying the blood.They all went to a big hall where the arrangements were made.

"Man, a warm glass of purified blood is what you need after a good fight!",Harris happily exclaimed.

"I know right?",William said while sipping on his drink.

They were all busy celebrating there victory.But,Hitoshi's mind was still stuck at the incident which happened the previous day.When his hands accidentally touched Mirai's.

Mirai was also thinking about the same thing.

"Her hands were warm"."His hands were cold".They were both wondering the same thing.
