3 RUTHLESS
Xavier Quinn was known to be one of the most ruthless billionaire in Country D, he was very cunning in the business world and had lots of connection.
His family was one of the richest in the country and though he could have continued to run the family business, Xavier wanted to build his own empire from scratch without using any of his father's finance. But his father didn't seem to like that.
Him and his father had never agreed on anything as his father wanted him to continue in his legacy, Xavier didn't want that and so came the brutal war between his father and him in the business world.
Xavier didn't mind the competition and never let his emotion cloud his judgement, he was ruthless and was willing to do anything to get to the top.
Most people refer to him as the 'devil incarnate', but Xavier never cared what people thought of him. His way of dealing with things might be different from others but what counts was that he got what he needed.
After having to attend to five meetings in one day, he was really stressed out and it was all his secretary's fault. He had messed up his schedule but Xavier took a mental note to deduct from his salary.
He placed the glass by his lips and in one gulp he was done with his glass. He didn't plan to go back to the condo today and was going to spend the night in his secret apartment in his office.
He walked over to the wall behind his desk, he pushed a hidden button at the side and then he placed his hand for scanning before the doors opened.
Within those walls was a one room apartment with a kitchen and a sitting room, he had this installed Incase he closed late from work which seem to be happening often these days.
As he entered inside the doors closed shut automatically as he made way to his bedroom.
He took off his suit and placed it on the bed, while he began to unbutton his shirt to show his well toned muscular body. All the while his eyes were focussed in the same direction.
After taking of the last of his cloth he then stepped into the bathroom as he turned on the shower. The water was cold but Xavier was numb to it, what was inside of him was much more cold than the water.
After staying under the shower for a while he then came out and dried himself with a towel before putting on a grey robe. He made way to his bed as he lay down, with his two hands supporting his head he closed his eyes as he drifted to sleep.

Abigail woke up to the sound of her alarm clock, she reached her hands to the side as she turned off her alarm clock. She got up from the bed and quickly changed into her jogging clothes.
She would always go out for a run every morning and today was no different, she put on her sneakers as she exited from her apartment. She began her exercise by walking around for about ten minutes before she then began to jog. She would stop and do some stretches and then continue jogging again.
She did this for thirty minutes and then she strode back to her apartment.
Abigail took a quick shower and then changed into her office clothes which was a simple knee length black body hug gown with a V neck line.
She paired it with a black heel and then let her hair fall down to her waist,She then rubbed her lip gloss.
Abigail had never liked makeup, though she didn't see anything wrong with it but she considered it a waste of time but for those who wish to use it then it was fine but for her she didn't have time for all that.
And with that Abigail was ready for work, she grabbed her bag and then left for work.
The road was busy this morning which was unusual but Abigail had left home early today so even with the delay at the road she was still able to get to work by 7:30am. She still had thirty minutes before she starts her daily checkup.
As she entered the Chan globals hospital she first saw her assistant Rebecca standing at the entrance of the hospital seemingly waiting for her to arrive.
Abigail had always thought of Rebecca as an hardworking girl but she would always remind her that work starts at 8am and that there was no need for her to be here waiting for her but Rebecca would always insist that she wanted to be at her beck and call.
As she got down from her car Rebecca rushed to her side with a latte in her hands as she greeted.
"Good morning ma" She greeted as she helped Abigail with her bag and then handed the latte to her.
"Good morning to you as well Rebecca, I told you don't have to buy my latte every morning" Abigail reminded her again just like every other day but the girl would just smile and not say anything.
Abigail was already used to this treatment from her and so she choose not to say anything and just let her be but she did remember to add this to her salary for the month.
They both entered the elevator that was taking them to Abigail's office, Rebecca then said.
"Miss, there's a meeting with the shareholders by 9am." Rebecca said as the elevator doors opened and she followed behind Abigail inside her office.
Not many new but Abigail was holding fifty percent of the company's shares, the only person who was aware was Rebecca, Kai and Raymond. Raymond was the person who always represented her in the meetings as Abigail didn't want people to know that she was among the Company's share holders.
She had just bought it recently and she didn't want anyone to know yet, she didn't want to be getting extra attention or anything like that and so she choose to let them think it was Raymond.
