Then they went ahead and scheduled me to work on my days off. Geez. Such a struggle.

The Time off for the family reunion because my grandpa was diagnosed with stage four liver cancer was already signed off. Which means that there's nothing that they can do about it. Meaning that I have that time off no matter what. I also got management approval later on after they gave me a hard time about it. Even before that, it was a condition of hire that I would have those days off. Geez, like my dad said, I've never seen such lack of communication. Next time, I want a copy of the signed document for how much Trouble they've given me. Always get it in writing.

P.S. yeah, I'm venting and processing this whole ordeal-but I learned something from it.
