1 Beastman 1

For years the beastman faced percussion until finally they went into hiding and eventually the humans forgot they ever existed at all. However the there where some that decided to stay among the humans, after all, they were used to this way of life. They thought they would be safe if they stay in human form but that was a naive thought, the moment on of them slipped up the government rushed to hide them and experiment on them, they were scared to think what the public would think if they found out about the beastman, or as the clueless scientist called them, mutants, abomination, monsters. The humans always fear what they didn't understand or couldn't be explain by their precious science.

The beastman were never leaked, hell the humans thought it was a disease caused by a infected animal, so they closed all the zoos and attractions that had live animals in fear of the "disease" spreading. They never did explain to the public why they closed the places commonly visited by so many. The humans didn't revolt, in fact they eventually excepted it.

This was all years before present day when the humans still try to hide the beastman. However they weren't careful enough, four beastman snuck in to the human cities and live out there lives there peacefully for awhile, a happy couple with their two daughters, however the government found out and took the parents away, they never found the children.

The girls grew up on the streets until an orphanage was willing to take them in, they still weren't like the other kids though. The girls knew they different, the youngest one felt it the most, the older one however thought was just her personality. Yes, that's why the other kids avoided them and didn't want to be their friends. The kids would tease them when they would feel brave enough to approach them, the sisters had different ideas of why they stay away. The oldest thought that they thought they she was weird or had some disease, the youngest one however, thought they were afraid of them.

"You're pathetic, nothing but scum, you hear." the kids would say. "Shut up, NOW" the youngest said, this was the first and only time she spoke against them. The youngest was right, they are afraid of them, because they ran away screaming. The youngest didn't know why, she went to scratch her and felt nothing there, but she felt twitching on her head. She raised her hands to the top of her hair and felt soft pointy ears, she then felt something in between her legs. She looked down to find a tail. What was happening to me she thought as her sister stood there in stock unable to speak. She peer at the mirror in the corner of the room and damn near fainted at the sight of the black muzzle that had taken the place of her normal features. She panicked and ran out the door pushing past everyone in her way and making her way outside.

She didn't know what she was doing, why she was running. She had not a clue to why her legs pulled her farther from where she came. She continued running confused and scared, when someone pulled her into an alley. "You idiot, you should know better than to be beast form in the city, much less the middle of the day. Now change back immediately!" An unknown voice of a girl about the same age whispered to her. "What, beast form, how do become a human again or am I stuck this hideous creature- Ow." She was interrupted by a slap in the face and she look up at the girl's face. The only thing that was there was hate and resentment, why was she angry with me, she thought. "What's your name kid?" the girl asked. "Obsidian, why?" Obsidian asked. "Have you ever wondered why that is your name?" the girl asked blankly. "No, by the way what's your name?" Obsidian asked. "My name's Scarlet." she said in reply. "Ok, Scarlet why do have a look of resentment?" Obsidian had always been able tell how people felt just by there eyes. "What" Scarlet said having been caught off guard by Obsidian's unusual question. "That doesn't matter just change back already." Scarlet said avoiding the question. "How do I do that?" Obsidian asked confused. "Oh you have got to be kidding me, are serious?" Scarlet said getting more and more annoyed. "Oh never mind it did on its own." Obsidian said surprised and relieved. "Ok, now follow me." Scarlet said leading Obsidian into a building.
