11 Chapter 11: Rebirth

The explosion destroyed the machine and everything on the planet. Tynofast had died. Well not...completely.

Tynofast's alien genes and his semi biological chip fused indistinguishabley and formed a nexus in his spine that swiftly adapted to Vodiphotons. The change also had all information on the chip implanted in his spine ridges. By now, the rest of him including his head was gone destroyed by the unique forces around him.

When the energy reached it's climax, his lonely and battered spinal ridge was transmitted, disappearing like it had never existed. Megen dome were not jubilatory when the news reached them, that incident would have them victims if someone else hadn't experienced the strangeness of Vodiphotons. The news forced them to scrap the project especially when the Supreme Council traced it back to them and came knocking.

Within Two years Xenoneural Labs had disbanded and the incident became inconsequential history.

Tynofast traveled timelessly through a channel where Vodiphotons originated from. Through this passage, his spine consistently adapted to the queer energy, at some point it even began absorbing the stuff. The spanless trip eventually came to an end and Tynofast's spine was spat out of incandescence and oscillation onto a dreary beach where it smoldered in crashing waves.

Steam wafted of the coast for a day. By the time the spinal ridge had cooled down it was deep in the shore surrounded by glass from the heat. Days passed and Tynofast's spine showed no reaction as suited to a dead object. Soon, a peculiar creature found it. It was a Squid of sorts if squids had six eyes, two heads, barbed tentacles and a mouth between it's heads.

It swallowed him sand and all, before scuttling back in the water. Weeks had passed and it was a husk of itself seemingly thinned from malnutrition and emancipated. It tryed to regurgitate his spine but the supposedly dead body part had become a parasite with tenterhooks lodged deeply, draining it of all it was worth.

The unfortunate creature only lasted a week more before being sucked to death. In it's husk of a carcass, Tynofast's resurrection began, utilizing the new found energy in his spine bones were built, then sprouted muscle which was soon caked in scales.

Second to last, Tynofast's brain was regenerated. It was at this time, granulations were forming in his chest cavity. Were his heart was supposed to be a new, mysterious organ took form. It was quickly finished and Tynofast was whole, just not...quite living. As if sensing the problem, his spine let rip an electrical buzz. Jolting his brain into reboot.

Signals went through his stagnant body into his chest, a signal was echoed back from his chest seemingly in communication with his brain. A final signal came from his brain, then his chest hummed.

It literally buzzed it changed frequencies till Tynofast's eyes snapped open the buzz was directed periodically through his new blood vessels to every part of his body. His blood flowed like it was living, baptizing every part of his body as it coursed through it.

There was a loop, it went back to Tynofast's mysterious organ and darkened in color. By the 24th cycle the change stopped, it had transitioned into a dark red liquid. It was then Tynofast's eyes were shocked open. At first his stare was blanked but slowly his memories resurfaced along with massive information that seemed to have abruptly become natural knowledge to him.

His body had never felt so mysterious yet he never understood it better. He surveyed his knowledge but couldn't find out where he had ended up was this a different planet or was it...a different world.
