Chapter 6 Demon Beasts Are Coming

All the Beastmen, in an instant, blanched.

"Demon Beasts are coming," someone shouted.

Witch Clan's Grom immediately ordered, "All females transform into your beast forms and move to the secret chambers beneath the Beast God Temple."

Ashley was the first to transform into a rat form, over a foot long, with a coat of grayish-blue fur that shimmered lustrously; the clothes she had been wearing fell to the ground.

"Follow me," Ashley commanded in a squeaky but human voice, snagging her clothes with her teeth before dashing forward.

Sally, however, did not wish to go with her, shouting to Robby, "I want to go home, not to the secret chambers."

No sooner had she spoken than she turned into a small white mouse, leaping onto Robby's shoulder, instinctively feeling safer with him.

Robby knew she was not familiar with the other females in the tribe, and besides, the Millet Family also had their own secret chambers.

After all, digging holes was what rats excelled at, and creating a few secret chambers was hardly a difficult task.

Grom did not force Sally. It was her own decision not to go with Ashley. So he, too, turned into rat form, leading the other females who had transformed into secret chambers below the Beast God Temple.

Robby placed Sally on his shoulder, "Sister, let me take you home first."

"Okay," Sally responded.

At that moment, Lin Lang grasped Sally in his palms, "Better to come with me and see how I slay the Demon Beasts."

Sally struggled, "No, I refuse!"

Robby wanted to say something, but under Lin Lang's imposing aura, couldn't utter a single word.

"I've paid the dowry, you're now my female," Lin Lang replied arrogantly, then stuffed her into his pocket.

"No, I haven't…" Sally's voice was muffled by Lin Lang's hand, clamping her mouth shut so she couldn't say anything.

The Demon Beasts attacking the Rat Tribe were a pack of grayish-brown Wolf Beasts.

Standing upright, they were over three meters tall with sharp fangs dripping with green, poisonous saliva, and crimson vertical pupils filled with a hunger to rip and devour everything.

Sally poked her tiny mouse head out from Lin Lang's embrace only to shrink back rapidly and ask him, "Can you kill them?"

"What do you think?" A powerful aura suddenly burst forth from Lin Lang.

As his aura expanded outward, the ground began to tremble violently, and the earth cracked open, revealing sharp and hard Rock Spikes that shot out towards the pack of Wolf Beasts.

Sally's eyes widened,"So powerful!"

Yet Lin Lang did not relax because he realized these Demon Beasts were not like the ones he had encountered before. It seemed as if their crimson eyes were controlled by something.

Even a Wolf Beast spat out high-level Wind Blades, slicing through the Rock Spikes, leaping agilely, tearing and biting at the Rat Clan Beastmen.

Suddenly, an enormous Brown Bear Magical Beast, standing thirty feet tall, emerged.

Opening its mouth, it swallowed a Rat Beastman.

And that Beastman, Sally recognized, was Cain Shezadlin who had stood beside Lin Lang to witness the adulthood ceremony.

Seeing his friend devoured enraged Lin Lang, and he charged at the Brown Bear Magical Beast.

The Magical Beast, too, had crimson eyes, and it raised its paw, smashing down towards Lin Lang!

Lin Lang tried to dodge but to his horror, he discovered his body was suddenly frozen in place!

"This is... a Domain! How is this possible?" Lin Lang's eyes widened in shock as he spoke to Sally in his embrace, "Can you move? If you can, escape at once!"

Sally was more than immobilized; she couldn't even speak.
