1 Accident

A giant planet which was almost 1500 times of earth, was floating in empty void completely filled with the beasts. This planet has no sun to revolve around but this planet has day and night which were made from the presence or absence of special energy particles which happen periodically.

For conscious living beings, only two species were present, one was beast-men who were human-like but with some animalistic feature, who generally lived in grassland or in the prairie, and other were elves who, most commonly found in ancient and dense forests.

In recent times energy particles of this world were disappearing which cause the living condition to deteriorate first to deal with this impact were grasslands and prairie where the particles were scarce in the first place causing beastmen to almost extinct, but general elves considered them gone forever, next who suffered from this problem were elves themselves whose number was declining sharply.

But beasts of this world almost went mad and in fact, every one of them gone through some sort of mutation and become very aggressive and their power also increased causing elves to flee from the forest, they made cities on the edge of the forests.

Inside one of the of last three elven city, at least hundred black figures were present in a secret place performing some sort of ritual, every one of them was sweating badly like they were doing very hard work in a very hot day and atmosphere of that place was very serious. suddenly the gate of that place opened with a bang and a middle-aged elf also wearing black cloth rushed inside and yelled: "you need to complete this ceremony in hurry city guards has got wind of us and are coming to this place".

Hearing this those figures cursed silently "we already dying into extinction they still have to stop us from summoning our god". Still, they tried to put more effort into summoning.

While those black figures were busy into their summoning, the elf who just came in has a sinister expression on his face, because he was the perpetrator of this whole event he was the one who gave these black figures this god summoning method, these figures were those last remaining beastmen who were desperate for survival, in fact, the summoning method they were using for not for summoning the god as they believed but for a legendary artefact of ancient beastmen which will give its wielder control of this whole world. He even told them a lie that city guards were coming to kill them.

That elf was the advisor of the city lord in fact he told the city lord about presence these beastmen and advised him to capture these beastmen so he could use them directly but didn't expect to city lord to reject him thus he made this plan.

But it seems like city lord somehow got to know about this place thus he sent city guard to invite them so he had to push these beast-men further to summon that artefact. He has even made adequate preparation to kill these beastman after summoning and prepared himself an escape route. From the summoning process, it seems as it has reached in a critical phase any haste could be fatal to these beast men but he didn't care but still urged them to speed up.

In a complete different dimension from that planet

Earth

Year 2400

Earth now has now become technologically very advanced. All the countries are resolved and joined together to form a union. Humans have even colonised all the planet of the solar system.

During these colonisation process, they come across a very ancient ruin in the year 2362 on Pluto which causes earth government to become very surprised at this finding a ruin on any planet in their own solar system. After a period of caution, they began to start searching these ruins in order to find who and when constructed this place. What they came across this place was a machine which is made in the form of the gate with unknown usage even with the earth that time technology because of its shape it was given the name "Gate".

After a series of debate and other formality earth government finally made a team in the year 2365 to rebuild this machine and find out its usage. During the first 30 years, many research teams failed some even stupidly did trials on this but died miserably but never succeeded in reproducing it. But this never reduced other researcher enthusiasm in that gate because even those failed research brought considerable technological development in other aspects of the earth. But in the last 5 years the government banned public research on that because of inhumane equipment made from that technology, the only government research team could study it.

In one of such government research laboratory, a near replica of "Gate was standing at a place and many unknown measuring equipment was attached to that gate. Many scientists were pacing from one place carrying some glass tablets to other places with a serious but excited face as today was a trial of this newly made gate.

This commotion continued for nearly 2 hours before every instrument were in their designated places. After that everyone retreated to buildings at least 100 meters separated to the gate and were covered with spaceship grade glass which can withstand pressure up to 1million ton.

When every equipment and person was at their place chief researcher of that place made his way to a podium. He was considerably younger according to his position only 30 some year but his eyes were resolute. When he reached at the podium he started to give his speech to encourage every person involved and thanked them for their effort in case this test failed it was not their fault and said to work hard for some more time

But the most nervous person in that place was none other than him because he was the one who will be responsible if any event this test failed and something were to happen to him and his wife who was also here he didn't know what will happen to his 5-year-old son. He reached his designated place and waited for the exact time to arrive.

When the time reached 12:00 pm, he ordered to start the primary operator after some time a mechanical sound announced "primary operator, power output 100%, all conditions normal"

Then he ordered other experts to check the equipment for confirmation, after getting a positive result. He ordered secondary operatory to start after some time it also announced by mechanical voice "secondary operator, power output 100%, all conditions normal"

After confirmation, he ordered the third and final operator to start and added to keep the backup operator in running condition in case of emergency and after all confirmation.

He ordered "start the gate, keep overall output to 50%"

When power was 50% gate started showing some reaction he ordered overall power output to steadily increase to 95%.

Unknown to both the dimension summoning of beastmen and operation of gate started at the same time resulting in a mutual resonance which shows its first effect when "Gate" power output started to fluctuate and decreasing.

Which caused uneasiness in the control room to which increased by mechanical sound "Emergency, unknown power drain, Emergency, unknown power drain"

Sweating slightly chief researcher ordered start drawing power form backup operator only them mechanical warning stopped and power values started to rise.

And the resonance also started to increase. In the place of beastmen all started to experience increased pull in power. When middle-aged elf saw that happening he took that another way that artefact was coming quickly unknown to beastmen predicament, he kelp a shining stone tightly in his hand and started to move towards summoning place while keeping eye on the beastmen unusual movements.

While all of this in control room power value of "Gate" has increased to 99% and distortion in the air has increased to an unprecedented degree all the operators were working at full capacity. This was the first time in 35 years "Gate" has reached to this degree one slight push was needed to start the gate, just then head researcher said "increase it to 100%" with excitement in his face.

But unknown to them resonance between both events also increased to very high. just then in the place of beast-men a sought came from outside "city guards are here" causing many of the beastmen to flinch as a summoned "Ring" was almost coming out of the summoning place.

But in the middle age elf eye, there was only thing Greed. He looked at the stone in his hand decisively broke it and jumped towards that ring catching all of the beastmen in surprise they could only exclaim "NO". An explosion sounded at that place but many of the beastmen started to forcefully cancel their summoning who understood what was happening. Causing many of the beastmen to understand that elf with them has betrayed them they also forcefully cancelled their summoning this caused summoning to fail. The ring also disappeared from that place which was almost in the elf hand.

Failed summoning started to suck in energy particles from that place ground started to cave in, beastmen participating in the ritual started to become visibly thin and soon become mummified husks.

But that elf somehow managed to reach his escape route, he took a look behind at the collapsing place and jumped in that place, he was disfigured when energy particles were forcefully pulled out of him.

This failed summoning also caused resonance between those event to break, in the command centre when energy out almost reached 100% a sudden fluctuation came in the reading and immediately replaced with a red sign in all the screens "Warning", "Warning" "energy overload" "warning"….

In the command centre, almost happy expression on everyone face drastically change that place become complete chaos then another mechanical sound came "emergency power shutdown started".

For one second everyone thought this test has become a failure and everything else is normal, but just then another mechanical sound poured a cold sweat from them.

"Emergency 'power accumulation found', explosion imminent, evacuate immediately"

Then suddenly someone shouted, "look outside". When people present in the command centre looked outside. "Gate was sucking air rapidly but still a distorted image of a wildness was seen across and a head of a dinosaur similar to t-rex was sticking out and then explosion went out"

When this happens almost all the earth was like in solar-eclipse but an image of a lot bigger planet can be seen everywhere on the earth instead of the moon covering the sun.
