Training (Part 2)

Riley was stunned for a moment and suddenly he felt a little bit bitter inside his heart.

Everyone was marveling at his luck and praising his abilities, but not a single person asked him if he was okay.

Riley pretended not to care and said, "You could have just called me; there was no need to come all the way here. Are you taking a day off tomorrow?"

His mother smiled and replied, "How did you know? I had made plans with your Aunt Choudhary to go shopping together tomorrow."

Riley: "..."

His mother's visit was a small episode, and the next day at noon, she left on her Dovestruck to go to the light train station.

It seemed she had forgotten about her plans to go shopping with Aunt Choudhary.

The Little Cosmicub hadn't woken up after a whole night, but the redness on his face had receded.
