He didn't make himself known but continued to talk To me as I spun around in confusion.

He cut his words short and I felt like he had more to say but As his words caught, I felt a pull on my consciousness.

I woke up To an old man throwing water on me.

" Wake up youngster, I Can't deal with another dead body so You better be alive."

I rolled over and I heard him gasp in shock.

" That bad huh old timer?!"

He looked at me before I heard him draw water once more he walked over to me and shouted.

" THIS GONNA HURT YOUNGSTER!"

he didn't let the shock set in before the pain hit me, My Body hit the floor With a thud as I writhed in pain.

" Yep, Its not infected.

I looked at the old man Wearing black clothes who had on a pink apron His white beard and grey hair made me feel a familiar sense of peace.

This get up made me smile as his rough wrinkly face Toiled as he stared at me.

He left me alone and went into a shed at the back of the stable.

He exited with a small bag and a set of clothing.

" This is my daughter's cloths but they should fit you fine. "

He chucked the bag at me and it hit one of my wounds.

He said to me with a strained face.

" Dress And ill put you to work.

Do not rest yet, With those wounds you will most likely get sick if you try to nurture it.

Those whips are not Very clean.

So let some sweat Clean those wounds.

I dressed myself In the clothes...

I was not particularly interested in cross dressing but I don't look bad in a dress and leather pants.

It was simple Grey Cloth and Brown leather pants.

No frills at all thank goodness.

I looked over at him as I winced in pain before introducing myself.

He cut me off with a reply that was gruff!

" I care nothing for introductions when you are healed you can leave to where you belong.

He looked down at me and I could have just been an a**hole.

But I let the anger go...

he Didn't bother to reply, he Just turned around and walked outside.

His Voice carried as he grew further away.

I looked around to the Eight stall stable It had a small Closet like shed on its far right side.

To my left I followed Him through the larger doors that were actually big enough to fit even a Fire truck.

I noticed the door was a raised door like a garage door.

I looked at the cogs that had weird patterns, The Patterns shone a bit but were dull enough that if you didn't look you'd miss it.

I was looking for a spring and other stuff but it wasn't there.

I heard his call once more making me flinch and look in his direction as I winced in pain from my Wounds.

I walked out and looked to my left, We were in a large meadow with a forest all round us.

He noticed me looking before calling me.

" Newt, Look at the scenery later Its work time and you have rent to pay!"

I didn't argue and even with my pain I waddled over and did as I was told.

It was simple Things moving animal feed from one place to another.

Mixing that feed in containers.

Serving Troghs and bowls, the oddest thing though I didn't see a single creature in the stalls or the pins I have walked through?!

I slipped free from the boss as I was trying my hardest to find an animal or something for that matter.

It actually took me by surprise when I found none.

After I walked back the boss gave me a small task of delivery.

He said and I quote.

" Deliver this craft.

Take it to the Station it is In the city that way.

When you go into the city follow the White signs, You will see a building which has an orange roof.

Go in and ask for Maxine.

Now Newt, When you are done take the payment and go to the clinic.

His direction seemed simplistic and even I had to ask?!

" Is the city fitted with color coordination?"

He scoffed.

" No smart assistant the travelers signs are color coded for easier travel, The street signs are all one color, And the Hub signs are all just Symbol edged out by ranking color."

I looked at him in surprise the Issue was what he said after.

" you will not last long With your incompetent nature, And you will receive even worse of beating if you offend some High noble...

Maybe I should run this errand with you?!'

He nodded to himself as he walked to his stable he closed the door down, And Locked Went over to his forge outside.

He put large steel plates over the fire and closed the plumes as he snagged a larger hammer.

I looked at it with wonder it was almost as large as me?!

He looked over at me and said.

" OH don't you dare tell me you have no weapons?!"

I looked at him and patted myself down...

It seems that the man who left me here took all my things.

He took the rings I had and the anger in me bubbled over as I began to scream expletives.

I went so far as to curse that man!

If I saw him again, I'd curse him to his face, his children, his Wife and All of his ancestors.

I looked at the boss and could only feel terrible.

" It seems the bastard who dumped me here took my belongings.

Although I should be fine..."

He walked over to a small crate And rummaging through it brought out a belt He handed to me as he dug deeper.

He found what he was looking for he spun around and tossed them at my feet.

There was four small blades landing in front of my feet I flinched back as he explained.

" These are sheer blades.

If we get caught ina tiff.

Stab the eyes and run, Doesn't matter what creature it is just 'stab and run'."

I nodded my head and he motioned for me to follow.

We Started walking South towards the forest when I noticed a dirt road that led into said forest.

It was self explanatory to me.

Or so I thought even though the path was well used it seems it branched off ina few places.

We didn't encounter any beast or monsters, He made it seem like there was No way not to meet one?!

But when we reached the city, I realized that we had no package?!

I had set it down When he tossed me the Belt.

I looked at his back Before I spoke up.

" Um Boss!?"

He Spun around and looked vigilantly at me and our surroundings.

He focused on me.

" What is it?"

I made the sincerest and most pleading eyes before I told him.

" I set the package down and forgot to pick it up before we left..."

He looked around me and registered what I was saying was true.

His mind and his eyes both swam for answers as he seemed to panic a little bit.

" This cannot be late!"

I felt a small problem arise and an answer popped into my head.

I Silently let him toil as I Mentally spoke to my siblings.

I got no answer as I poked once more.

I got a bunch of fuzz almost like it was trying to convey an image But it was a static image nothing special or definitive.

After I figured they were busy I got a clear Picture.

It was a View of Him in a reflection.

He had Evolved it seems and wanted to show me.

on His Head was an insignia It was a gorgeous Black Raven Mark.

His eyes were now Shining bright gold, His fur a sleek Shining Brown.

His teeth seemed to have Grown and he had seemed to Convey something about a blood mutation.

He gave me a few more streams of information as he had clearly been excited to tell me..

I congratulated him but that was not all, He showed me his Mate.

It seems they have found other wolves and have absorbed another pack after he ate the leader.

Our Beast pack was now Nine Strong, With us Eight included We had Seventeen in our Pack.

With Two more On the way!

I Asked him about his location and if there was a chance he could help me, Before I could finish my sentence.

He Sent an odd request as he asked for my surroundings through view.

I not understanding Just sent a view of the surroundings.

The location and the Thought of Distance.

I don't know why I thought about how far the tree was away from me but I did.

And Before I could make sense.

I heard a man Behind me scream in shock.

He Readied His Large hammer and Began to swing.

His voice came out But I Reacted Not to him but to my Brother.

" boy stab and run!!"

I Grabbed The tail of my brother as I screamed at them.

" Do not harm one another without having a reason! "

My little brother dodged and jumped behind me his size was actually Larger than me.

Although I am not exactly that old or fully grown...

Because of the Movement And the fact that I Tried to move to fast period my body Burnt As I felt the wounds sting.

Bento Whimpered then growled at the man Before he used Humans tongue.

" Are you okay Elder Brother?"

The elder man Shreaking said.

" What the hell Is this?!

Is it your summon?!"

I still reeling in pain from moving quick said through gritted teeth.

" This is No Slave!

This is my Pack leader, and my clans General!"

The elder man Backed away and said.

" Are you a beast lord?!

Have you gained the demons title and been allowed to take the form of a Human!?"

I laughed like a Kid as I couldn't help but explain.

The look on his face made Me forgive him for being Rude it seems we are equal.

I can't ask him to go back at this point...

I figured at top speed it would take him about five minutes so I shouted at him as I jumped on bento.

"Stay there I will be back in no time just trust me please. "

" Do you know where you are going ??"

he snapped at the air and took a deep breathe through his nose.

" I Can smell The Path you took brother."

I chuckled and said the thought out loud.

" whew I must stink if it's that easy."

he whipped his head side to side.

"no brother all creatures have a scent it is just how you live and it takes time to develop such foul scents"

That was good to hear but His next line made me Feel like I was hearing some Good things.

" Brother would you like to claim a Beast With a match to your soul?"
