The Demon Academy

<p>They all went home to inform their mother about their decision to join the demon academy which some of their parents did not agree to but eventually, they still decide to go and that is how they went to look for Ryder in the bar very early in the morning and just as he told them, he was busy drinking when they saw him.<br/><br/>"Don't he have anything good doing other than drinking" thought Jason to himself with a twitch's mouth when he saw Ryder drinking. <br/><br/>Noticing the gaze around him, Ryder raised his head to see who it was only for him to see some kids standing not far from where he was sitting. Letting out a sigh, Ryder got up as he went to meet up with them.<br/><br/>"So you guys have finally made up your mind to join the demon academy" asked Ryder with a smile. <br/><br/>They all nodded in reply to his word and Ryder let out a grumpy sound.<br/><br/>"I guess I will have to create another time to enjoy a relaxing time" mutter Ryder before turning to the kids before speaking to them.<br/><br/>"This way please".<br/><br/>They left the bar before making their way towards a towering building with the statue of a man dressed in armor.<br/><br/>"I must warn you, once you have successfully enrolled in the demon academy, you won't be able to go back to your parents, and life as a hunter is not easy as you think. So I will ask again because there is no turning back once you have chosen to be a hunter, do you want to do this" asked Ryder all of a sudden in a serious tone.<br/><br/>"We know it was not easy being a hunter and life are always lost but my mind is already made up, this is the path that I have chosen to follow" replied Jace.<br/><br/>Seeing that their mind has already made up, Ryder could only focus on the walk to the academy which didn't take them much time for them to arrive at the entrance of the academy.<br/><br/>"Make sure to follow behind me" warned Ryder before continuing forward.<br/><br/>Getting past the entrance, the guard that was stationed there couldn't help but widen his mouth in surprise when he saw the kids that were following behind Ryder and he couldn't help but speak up.<br/><br/>"Ryder are these kids here to enroll in our academy" asked the guard.<br/><br/>"You got that right" reply Ryder with a smile before heading inside.<br/><br/>Following Ryder from behind as they make way into the academy only to be awe by the view before them. With some people running out of the academy while in their gear, while others were chatting with their friends. The place was just too huge that it makes them wonder if it is really possible for the building to contain all of this.<br/><br/>"Welcome to the demon academy" Ryder announce with a smile after seeing the look on their face.<br/><br/>They were still looking around when they heard a familiar voice coming from not too far from where they were standing.<br/><br/>"So you decided to bring them in eh" said Axel with a frown as he walk up to Ryder.<br/><br/>"It was their choice and not mine alright, by the way where is Chloe" asked Ryder.<br/><br/>"She went to meet Adam" replied Axel.<br/><br/>"Is she thinking of getting another weapon" asked Ryder.<br/><br/>"Who knows maybe she just went there to do some upgrade" replied Axel.<br/><br/>"Whatever, I think it is time I take these kids to get signed up before it's too late" said Ryder as he begins to lead them forward.<br/><br/>"Huh, I would like to see how many of them will be able to be promoted from being a trainee" commented Axel before walking away.<br/><br/>While they were walking, Jace couldn't help but reason the words that Axel said about seeing those that will make it into the hunter rank.<br/><br/>"Sir Ryder is it difficult being promoted to a hunter" asked Jace after some time of contemplation.<br/><br/>"Well, it is not that hard to get promoted as long as you are diligent in your training, and let's not forget the most important thing about becoming a hunter is being able to wield a weapon" reply Ryder.<br/><br/>"It shouldn't be that difficult to wield a weapon" said Maria.<br/><br/>"Oh it is little girl. The reason why not everyone who wants to get into the academy is not able to is that they are not capable enough to wield a weapon" replies Ryder.<br/><br/>"Not being capable enough" Jace repeated the word.<br/><br/>"That is right boy, for one to be able to wield a weapon. They would be tested to see if their body will be able to handle the beast gene that would be injected into their body" said Ryder as he begin to tell them things they should be prepared for.<br/><br/>"And what would happen to those whose body could not handle the gene" asked Kelly with his head lowered.<br/><br/>"They would be sent home of course but if they want to live here as workers, then no problem" reply Ryder before they arrive at a counter where a lady is busy registering some kids that were following a young man. <br/><br/>Seeing the new arrival of kids, the lady couldn't help but let out a sigh before looking at Ryder who has a smile on his face. <br/><br/>"Looks like you are as busy as ever Maureen" said Ryder with a chuckle as he went to meet the lady.<br/><br/>"Since I was not able to make it into being a hunter this is the least that I can do although it is really stressful ghoing through the process of registering all these kids" reply Maureen with a smile.<br/><br/>"Haha, that is work for you. By the way can you help me register these kids" said Ryder in an awkward laugh seeing that Maureen has just complained about the stress of registering them.<br/><br/>"Get I will need a hand on this one" replied Maureen with a sigh before excusing herself. 흫_흫</p>
