Furthermore, they need to cultivate two intermediate-stage evolved pet beasts, also known as intermediate pets. Afterward, a notary from the Beast Control Alliance will conduct a 1v1 battle. Winning allows them to change their information to that of an E-level Beast Master.

Some people, in order to quickly cultivate intermediate pets, opt for short-evolution span insect-type extraordinary beast as contract subjects. But these just-evolved intermediate pets are, after all, too weak. Only those Beast Masters with exceptional combat command can win battles with them; others just can't.

Given her background as a mediocre student with insufficient knowledge reserves, Qiao Yi could only remember beautiful extraordinary beasts.

Though the dark-haired Turtle wasn't great in water like regular turtles, it had strong defensive capabilities.

The White Sands Fox, Sandstone Mole Rat, and Deep haired Turtle were all earth-type pet beasts, so these three pet beasts were often compared.

However, the White Sands Fox crushed the other two in terms of looks, making it the top choice for female newcomers.

The Short-Tailed Snake was a poison-type pet beast, with venomous teeth and a dangerous needle-tail on its back. It had strong combat abilities from an early stage.

However, those who contracted it might end up having to visit the hospital.

Without strong physical qualities, there weren't many new BeastMasters brave enough to contract it.

Apart from buying pet beasts at the pet base, you could also acquire them through various methods like the black market, pet gambling, and the wilderness.

Pet beasts obtained from the black market had unclear origins. As long as you could afford it, they could somehow get you any kind of pet beast you wanted.

Pet gambling depended on luck. If you weren't careful, you could lose all your wealth, and maybe even your pants.

Going to the wilderness to find contract-worthy pet beasts was something typically done by Beast Masters at least at the level of a D-level Beast Master. After all, there was a great likelihood of encountering danger in the wilderness, and extraordinary beasts in the wild were difficult to tame. Even if you managed to form a contract with them, they wouldn't be easy to cultivate and train.

None of these three options were feasible for her right now.

It was like how some people liked daydreaming, wanting a mythical beast right from the start..

Having a pet beast that was truly hers and within her abilities—this was what she wanted.
