"There's no need to be this jealous." She said while stroking his blond hair as his head rested on her lap. They had just finished their meal after Kiera took a quick bath, and they now were resting on the couch.

"I know." He closed his emerald eyes every time her hand raked through his hair, like a puppy enjoying the pampering from its owner.

He mumbled, "I just can't stand him."

Kiera chuckled at the odd expression he displayed on his face and the creasing at the corner of his eyes that accompanied such an expression.

"You are friends with him are you not?"

"Not anymore." He scoffed, blowing out through his mouth, just enough to make the front hairs on his forehead lift. It was enough to make her heart swell with affection.
