"When will she wake up?"

"I don't know,"

"Did you have any idea what the alpha was talking about?"

"I don't know,"

"You have been the closest to her. How come you don't -"

"I said I don't fucking know. Can you leave me alone? I am already worried,"

"Hey, keep your voice down. The alpha might hear you and then start questioning weird things again,"

I could hear voices around me.

I didn't need to know who these voices belonged to. It was undoubtedly Dylan and Carl.

But the question was, why was I not able to open my eyes?

'Are you okay, Val?' Aurora asked me, and I took a deep breath.

'Of course, I am okay. What would happen to -' I paused, my pupils dilating.

Why was I seeing her right in front of me?

Aurora... She wasn't a wolf. She was just like me, a human in my mind space.
