1 Prologue

3am, Downtown Tokyo

Yui managed to get out of her father's building without being noticed. She was wearing a black baseball cap to subtly hide her face from everyone, a black hoody over her black shirt, black straight cut jeans and her black Converse. Even her backpack was black. It would be easier for her to hide in the shadows.

She'd been planning this since she found out about her mother. She was totally and would forever be grateful to Yukino, the old lady who took care of her since her mother left. Yukino helped her to sneak out, distracting the guards.

She knew there were cameras everywhere and fortunately for her, she knew how to hack her father's security system. She managed to shut down the cameras for two minutes tops—the only time she had to exit the building. And she did. Thanks to her secret passages.

She glanced at the building one last time and prayed for Yukino's safety. Once her father found out she was gone, she knew Yukino and the guards would be at his wrath's end. And she really prayed to whatever gods out there, that her father would spare Yukino.

She took a deep breath and walked away from the building's premises. Her heart beats faster with every step she made away from her life. She was walking away from home and escaping from his father's clutches.

"Sayonara."
