38 Angry Yu Feng

Two people sat at a coffee table. The smaller one took the rocking chair, while the older one sat on a normal-looking chair.

"Senior Brother... aren't we going to wait for Older Brother Fu Cheng?" Shi Wen asked carefully. He knew that his Senior Brother was angry at Fu Cheng for not following his instructions. There was a possibility that Yu Feng would scold Fu Cheng as soon as he came home.

"Just let him be. Isn't he old enough to take care of himself?" Hearing Yu Feng's response, Shi Wen lowered his head and resumed eating. He was too hungry to wait for his Older Brother. Besides, he wasn't the one at fault, so why should he feel guilty?

After finishing dinner, Fu Cheng hadn't come home yet. Even after Yu Feng put Shi Wen to bed, Fu Cheng still hadn't arrived.

"Senior Brother, why hasn't Master called us? He did it earlier in the morning, now he forgot about us..." Shi Wen's sad voice filled the room. Although Yu Feng was also saddened by the fact that their master hadn't called them before sleep, his anger towards Fu Cheng overshadowed it all.

"Didn't Master call us this morning? Maybe he's too busy at this time. Let's just wait for tomorrow."

Leaving Shi Wen's room, Yu Feng found himself alone in the living room, waiting for Fu Cheng.

Walking back and forth, Yu Feng started to feel anxious. Fu Cheng was the last person to see the 7-Star Black Panther. Perhaps something had happened to him? What if the 7-Star Black Panther had attacked him?

Although the walls were erected to protect the Sect, 7-Star Black Panthers were known to move in the shadows. What if the Black Panther was able to bypass the wall?

While worrying about Fu Cheng, Yu Feng failed to notice that the living room door was slowly opening.

Carefully turning the doorknob to avoid making noise, Fu Cheng entered the room. As soon as the door was wide open, he saw Yu Feng pacing around.

He heaved a sigh of relief, realizing that Yu Feng hadn't noticed his presence yet.

"Young Master Fu Cheng, welcome back," Fufu said, breaking Fu Cheng's initial relief. He slowly turned his head to gauge Yu Feng's reaction, and as he expected... Yu Feng looked at him angrily.

"Senior Brother Yu Feng..." Fu Cheng didn't turn his head fully, as if he was hiding something from Yu Feng.

Noticing Fu Cheng's strange movements, Yu Feng hurriedly went in front of him to get a better view. However, Fu Cheng avoided making eye contact, attempting to hide the left side of his face.

Despite his efforts, Yu Feng was able to see the gauze covering the left side of Fu Cheng's face. Concerned, Yu Feng held Fu Cheng's chin and turned his face towards him. In full view, Yu Feng saw a cut on Fu Cheng's lip, a black eye, and gauze taped to his left temple.

"What happened to you?!" Yu Feng couldn't help but raise his voice slightly. Fu Cheng's current appearance was unsettling. Half of his face looked battered, as though someone had struck him hard.

"Uhm... I got into a fight..." Fu Cheng replied, feeling embarrassed and looking down at the floor. He couldn't face Yu Feng right now. He felt as though he had let him down. First, he didn't follow Yu Feng's instructions, and now he had gotten into a fight with his previous young master.

Yu Feng clenched his fist. He was furious, not because of Fu Cheng, but because of the person who had caused Fu Cheng so much suffering.

"Who did this to you?!" Yu Feng's voice was filled with anger. He wanted to confront the person who had bullied Fu Cheng. As the one in charge while their master was away, he couldn't even protect his junior. Was he fit to be their Senior Brother if he couldn't serve justice for Fu Cheng?

"The one... the one I got into a fight with is Zhang Hao, my previous master. He should be among the newbies who passed the Entrance Examination this year..."

As Yu Feng listened to Fu Cheng's words, his anger grew. He couldn't believe that Zhang Hao, Fu Cheng's previous master and a fellow disciple, would harm him in such a brutal manner. How could someone within their own Sect resort to violence against their own?

A surge of determination filled Yu Feng's heart. He would not let this injustice go unpunished.

Zhang Hao would face the consequences of his actions, and Yu Feng would ensure that Fu Cheng received the justice he deserved.

"Don't worry Fu Cheng, as soon as we wake up tomorrow I will confront the one who did this to you. Let him face the strength of your Senior Brother!"

As Yu Feng made his bold declaration, a mixture of awe and gratitude washed over Fu Cheng.

It was as if he was seeing his Senior Brother in a whole new light, witnessing the unwavering resolve and protective spirit that emanated from him.

In that moment, Fu Cheng realized the depth of Yu Feng's care and his unwavering commitment to justice.

Tears welled up in Fu Cheng's eyes as he struggled to find the words to express his overwhelming gratitude. This was the first time he had experienced such genuine support and protection from someone ever since he came from the orphanage.

He had always felt like an outsider, a mere pawn under the control of his previous master. But now, with Yu Feng, Shi Wen, and his father by his side, he felt a sense of belonging he had never known before.

"Senior Brother... I... I don't know what to say," Fu Cheng stammered, his voice filled with heartfelt emotion.

"Thank you... thank you for believing in me, for standing up for me. I never thought I would find someone who truly cares about my well-being."

Yu Feng's expression softened, and he pulled Fu Cheng into a heartfelt embrace. It was a gesture of comfort and reassurance, letting Fu Cheng know that he was not alone in this battle.

"You don't have to thank me, Fu Cheng. We are brothers, and brothers protect each other," Yu Feng whispered, his voice filled with sincerity.

"From this moment forward, you can count on me to be there for you, no matter what challenges we face."

Anyway, story time of my life.

I almost burned our house during the weekend so I was kind of punished by my parents.

I was just cooking outside with wood, when suddenly fire got too big and went to the bushes. Because of the hot whether and how dry the bushes were, the fire spread too fast.

Fortunately, I called the firefighters immediately so there was minimal damages to our house.
