1 Chapter 1 - Surprise Surprise
"Hmmm, yeah, it seems like a good idea, I could use it to practice my writing skills without having to worry about the delicate story of my other one." I talk to myself in the middle of the night, like I always do, and my motivation to write a story only came up at either midnight or high noon, for whatever reason.
But like the newbie writer I am, I'm suck at trying to elaborate on my lifelong dream to write an epic fantasy with many original elements, like unique fantasy races that aren't dwarves, elves, or orcs, I hate those with a passion.
However, I decided to put it on a shelf and thought of writing another with less story and more action to practice my writing skills, which I'm bad at.
As I just finished writing the name of the novel, {Battle Tower}, my consciousness suddenly cut off.
I woke up from my slumber to see from two perspectives. Disoriented, I looked down at my body. One of the perspectives was what I was used to seeing since it looked like my body was almost still the same, as were my clothes. though the surprising part is that my right eye is no longer short sighted and my back was able to straighten up without me having to constantly force myself to do it. The burn scar I had on my forearm also disappeared without a trace, as did all the other scars that I accumulated throughout my childhood, even the faintest ones were not spared.
My other perspective, however, wasn't something I'm used to, as it wasn't my body, the chest was bigger than my other body, and I could feel something missing down there. My hair was dark brown and long in this body, though that wasn't a major concern as my clothes were smeared with dry blood and the shirt was punctured where my heart should be, but when I look at it, there are no injuries to be found, and I don't feel hurt.
"It seems like this body died and got revived."
At a glance, I found myself inside an empty white room with a white door in front of me, from both perspectives.
""Controlling two bodies, huh?"" I said to myself, As a fantasy writer, I knew of this scenario, consciousness sharing. I love the genre, but most aren't even aware of it since it takes another level of depravity to write or read this kind of novel.
I tried to move the bodies independently from each other, and within 3 minutes I got the hang of it. A few more minutes of practice allowed me to move both bodies without any difficulties, I may only have one consciousness, but I have two brains, which makes the job easier.
I opened the door to see a lush green field with an absurdly wide tower that took 3/4 of my vision despite it being estimated to be around 500m away from our location. Looking at my surroundings, I could see more than a few dozen people, the number goes up as more and more people come out of the doors that appear randomly in the field. When I look a bit further, I can see a few groups of people spread out surrounding the tower, but it's hard to make out how many of them are there or how many groups there are in total, as I don't know if there are a few more groups on the other side of the tower or not. Most of the people here are confused by the situation and are trying to ask each other to find out what is happening.
"What's going on here?" A middle-aged man said
"Where am I? Why can I walk?" A young man questioned
"You look like you're from the military? Where are we? Are you responsible for this?" A woman spoke to the man in the military outfit in a voice that sounded enraged by the situation.
"I don't know anything, just like you do, so please calm down." The soldier said
These are the voices that I could understand in the incomprehensible mess formed by many languages mixing with each other. Since I heard the same voices from both bodies, I knew that I was in the same place, though from the girl's perspective, the voice was a bit further away.
I looked around to find myself, since I don't know what this girl looks like, finding me in this body is easier. It took me less than 30 seconds to find myself, and I grouped up.
When the number of people, including my bodies, reached a certain point, the tower shot a beam toward multiple locations, and one stopped in the sky on top of us, revealing a headless figure wearing a white business suit.
[Hello, Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Battle Tower.] His voice alerted everyone in our area, making everyone look at him, even those that weren't paying attention to his appearance earlier. A few tried to scream at the sight, but it turned quiet the next second when their throats didn't even make noise like they were muted.

With his voice full of authority, everyone followed his command.

The moment I finished reading, both of my body stood there in a daze.
'Alright, I could use these.' I thought to myself and used Skill link on [Regress] and [Inventory]

After I finished, I closed the status and stood there waiting.
"I got a unique ability!" a boy screamed happily and got the attention of everyone looking at him in envy, things got awkward and he was supressed by the attention of the surrounding people.
'Dumbass' I thought as I look at the boy.
