I should be given an award for completing this book and it's sequel, martial universe???? But now I'll take a break for a few years to cultivate my interest to finish the trilogy. Ummm...... Yeah

This story is great, could not even stop reading until the end, good story line, nice character development, everything just very superp apart from some situation whereby author kept on repeating same plot armour. Just a great job from the author and we need more from him.

It wasn't all that great in the end..... Story was repetitive. Nothing exciting. It was interesting in the beginning though, but as story went on the novel became bland.

Hey~ this here (points at the book) is good stuff, I had read this first in manga then I transfer to LN which is much more better... Looking forward in reading it here in Qidian... 😋😋

I liked the plot of the story even though it was somewhat a cliche of a plot I liked reading this novel so those who are new and want to experience Xinxia novels I suggest you to try this one first.

The epic story of the most insignificant member, of an insignificant clan, from an insignificant city in an insignificant empire who reawakened a very significant alchemist from the "center stage" of the continent known as Dou Qi. This is where the adventure begins... It's a bit of a hot mess at times and there is a plot development which subverts the righteousness of the MC (imho), however, overall, it's a good read. Some parts, in fact, are real page turners. The final result is a novel that doe achieve epic proportions. On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being the worst and 10 being excellent) I give it a 7.5.

I love reading Heavenly silkworm potato's stuff. This is his first novel so it still as a way to go compared to his other works but it's still a great story.

This story is really interesting. I really love Xiao Yan because he has an unyielding character and never give up when face with problem. Does anyone know if there are second book?

repetitive and predicatable like many CN. But this is rather good especially on the early part. the alchemy stuff is good and impressive. But the ending was sorta sped up i guess. I honestly would have loved if it featured more Flames and experiments on it. But all in all better the Lin Dong's tale.

Overall this was a great novel. the first half of the book was very interesting with its mix of learning alchemy and martial arts. The second half of the book was pretty repeatative and alchemy really fell of to the way side. the fights were all well done even if the outcome of the fight was predictable. Per usual, the ending felt a little rushed but that seems par for the course.

This book is my first long length e-book novel which I have read. It's amazing that how can I finish this book because My english language skill was considered too weak. Thank for your app for supplying a lot of funny novels for practicing our English skill to obtain a good chances in our lives.

Amazing novel with very well done plot instantly gets you hooked it has kinda become the standard for many novels in Xuanhuan/Xianxia genre, the characters feel very real and the interactions between them are fun to read, meanwhile the world building is phenomenal with a very good Power System , locations , factions so overall definitely worth reading I personally have read it over 4 times from start to end and every time I reread I am still entertained!
