Chap 2 : Growing up

A week had gone since his birth, and his mother was pleased with him since he was a well-behaved infant. He only screamed when he needed to urinate or drink milk. Medusa (Cai Lin) would visit Ye Chen and his mother every day.

(Although Medusa's name as Cai Lin has not been decided yet in this time period , I will use the Name here and there , cuz typing medusa again and again makes me bored)

Since the snake people had little understanding of humans, they believed that human growth was rapid and that is why there are so many powerful humans. However, as 2 years passed, Ye Chen eventually developed the ability to speak like a 6-year-old.

Ye chen and Cai Lin have become closer as a result of their playing together sometimes. It appears that Cai Lin has a soft spot for children.

Days continued to pass till he turned four, but due to the numerous workouts he has been undertaking with the aid of a system to prevent injury to his body when he was working out , his physique resembles that of a six-year-old.

Not only would the evolved Queen Medusa be able to change into a human body succesfully without any side effects (such as she could not contol her body due to heavenly python) , but her power would also be increased to that of a Dou Zong. If he can help her using his flames then her fighting strength will be doubled as compared to orginal work since she will succesfully absorb the heavenly flame.

A "Heavenly Flame" is also the most crucial component needed for this metamorphosis. But this progression is incredibly risky. The 'Heavenly Flame' will entirely burn her into nothingness if it isn't done correctly. She would go through a very bizarre evolution,more powerful than the original timeframe,if she could survive it.

He was going to reveal to Cai Lin today that he can feel a heavenly fire in the Tager desert .As a Possessor of two heavenly fires in his Body. He could also plainly feel the same huge force.

Two snake guards were passing by as he was walking down the corridor, and when they spotted him, they began to murmur, "This creature is still here, Queen Medusa is very softhearted, all the elders are repeatedly telling her to chase him off, but Queen is stubborn and not exiling him."

Ye chen could plainly hear this, which made him feel depressed. He then carefully made his way to Cai lin's chamber, where she was working. He approached her and stroked her tail, but Cai lin didn't mind because she knew who had come.

She turned around and gave Ye Chen the sole viewer of her soft smile, which could melt any man's heart. Then, in a regretful voice, he said, "Aunt, I'll go away if I am a burden. Is me being here bothering you too much?.

Her heart hurt like someone had been stepping it down as she saw his typically charming, happy, and adorable face go sorrowful. This was a new type of emotion for her—love and care.

"What exactly happened? Did someone speak harshly to you?"Cai Lin immediately questioned in a furious tone, wanting to know who was so brazen. Ye chen only gave her a quick glance before bowing and saying, "I'm sorry for being such a burden to you."

"When others learn about your skills, they will automatically stop what they are doing right now", Cai Lin stated as she lifted him up off the ground and kissed his forehead.

When Yechen immediately beamed and stated, "Then I will grow very strong to protect you and mother," she immediately smiled because she knew he was sincere.

Ye chen said, "Aunt, I can somehow sense something in the desert, it's extremely hot, rampant, and based on the map, it looks to be towards the east to our snake clan's location."

Medusa immediately questioned, "Really?!!, if what you said is true then your contribution to the clan will be enormous and nobody will complain about you staying here, can you take me there if you can sense it?" Medusa is aware that there is a Heavenly flame in the desert but is unaware of its location.

Ye chen nodded before saying, "I can, but.." Medusa interjected, "But?" ,

"You should give me a kiss in the cheek whenever I tell you to kiss," he added. Hearing this, Medusa sighed as she giggled , as she had thought he was having trouble finding it when he was hesitating , but she enjoyed the feeling because no one had ever engaged with her in that way before.

Ye Chen then requested for a kiss straight away, and she nodded in response. Despite her hesitation, she nonetheless offered him an affectionate kiss in the cheek.

Ye Chen felt a divine softness touching his cheek and could smell an aroma that Medusa had given off, both of which made him want to embrace her and claim her as his own.

But He doesn't want to force a relationship because he wants to win her over with love; otherwise, how will the fruit taste sweet if it was plucked from the tree before it was fully ripe?

He went to his mother to let her know he was leaving and would be quite late, but when he entered her room, his mother was lying in bed with a bedsheet over her body and a red face. He immediately walked in to check on his mother since he worried something had happened to her.

However, Die Ba was startled to see her son enter unexpectedly. He hurried in and grabbed her bedsheet, but he was astonished by what he saw.
