SURVIVING

It's been a week since Jive teleported me to this weird island where there's thunderstorms five times a week and crazy spirit beasts that hunt me.

Yes, that's right they hunt me and not the other way around no matter where I hide they always seem to find me. In this single week I was almost killed twice. The first time was from an ambush made by a pack of Red-haired Apes, these apes are so strong one of them is able to go toe to toe with me, if I had not chosen the right time to run I would be dead. The second time was when I took a bath in the water which had a path that ran straight into the heart of the island, it was also the first time I saw an aquatic spirit beast, it was so powerful it almost ate me in a single bite if my understanding of chaos was low I would have not been able to tell there was something in the water.

That stupid bastard called Jive just left me here, sure I found it easier to understand the concept of chaos and thunder on the island. I had to admit it was the best place to train if you ignore the part where you are hunted down spirit beasts.

Surviving was the only thing I understood, the strong survive and the weak die, in this new world nothing else mattered but power.

It has been a month now, I was able to break through from the Top Level of High Lords to the Peak Level, it was almost as if the Chaotic Thunder Scripture was tailor made for me with every tiny increase in my understanding of either Chaos or Thunder Concept my strength would receive a boost.

"It has been a month since I last saw Cloud and Phantom" I wonder how they're doing.

With my strength right now, I could fight three Red-haired apes at the same time and even kill them but the problem was that they moved in packs of fifteen.

If someone was to look at me right now they might not be able to recognize me because not only was I looking like a beggar my hair had grown way longer, I looked like a completely different person even Rayla might not be able to recognize me if I was standing in front of her.

It has been two months now, the spirit beasts hunting me are more powerful than in the ones which hunted me in the beginning, the Red-haired apes are nothing to me anymore. Something strange happened on the island today, the whole island has been stuck at night with no signs of a thunderstorm for over twelve hours and it seems like it would continue like that for quite some time so I began to deepen my understanding of the Shadow Concept, since it was lacking when compared to my Chaos or Thunder Concepts.

My cultivation has stagnated for a while now, my sword now had cracks all over its body, it might break any day from now. If my understanding of the Concept of Chaos and Thunder was to be measured, it would appear to be at the Ascended Realm, while my Shadow Concept was still stuck at the Mid-level of High Lords, that's right the Mid-level not the Top level despite the fact that I had broken through to the Top level before being teleported here.

I now had to fight hand to hand with the Spirit beast since my sword broke about three weeks ago, I had started to practice a Finger technique which was included in the Chaotic Thunder Scripture called the 'Five Finger Manic Hold', it was a domineering finger technique when cultivated I could destroy a person from the inside out and destroy his body completely, it was very hard to cultivate, I had to learn how to exert strength in my fingers alone that would be transferred inside a rock before making it burst from the inside out. It had a very strict cultivation method, I was not allowed to cultivate the second stage of the technique which could let me create a palm in the air from just my energies alone to attack a person.

My cultivation has started progressing again, my understanding of the Shadow Concept is now nearing the Peak level of High Lords, I still have not been able to breakthrough to the Ascended Realm. I finally understand why Val said it was impossible to breakthrough to the Ascended Realm no matter how much I cultivated the drum which held the Aura of the Universe in my body refuses to be filled since it refuses to fill up, I can't breakthrough to the Ascended Realm.

I don't know how long it has been now, the beasts have become more cunning they even hunt me down with accurate precision even though its dark all-day long and the thunderstorms had resumed. The Chaotic Thunder Scripture suggests that I undergo body strengthening and Transformation by using the power of the concepts I understand to temper my body.

It suggested I catch a bolt of thunder before using it to refine my body if I was going to use the Thunder Concept to strengthen and transform my body, while it required me to create a chaotic field with the power to rip apart my body and immerse myself inside it [talk about a masochistic cultivation manual], as for the shadow element it had no information on how I could transform and strengthen my body using the Shadow concept so, I just winged it and coated my body in the shadow element.

I finally killed that huge fish which almost ate me when I was first teleported to the island. My understanding of the Shadow Concept has now caught up with my other concepts, I can feel that I'm not that far away from breaking through to the Ascended realm and I finally got to take a bath after all this while.

I finally caught a thunderbolt successfully thunder so I've finally started cultivating the Body Strengthening and Transformation part of the Chaotic Thunder Scripture. I can easily kill any spirit beast at the Peak level of High lords using only my body without using any techniques.

I finally hit the bottle neck for breaking through to the Ascended Realm, my understanding of the various concepts had already reached the Third Heaven of the Ascended Realm.

"Finally broke through to the Ascended Realm, Hahaha" I laughed crazily, "I can now fly, nothing can stop me" I said as I controlled the Aura around me to carry me up into the sky, it was a little hard at first but I got the hang of it so now I could travel easily around the island.

"Something is definitely wrong with the island, I finally broke through to the ascended Realm and now the island now suddenly has flying Spirit beasts which are extremely powerful" I lamented.

It was as if I was just on the island for someone's entertainment, I had no idea how right I was because Jive was watching me while he sat on the throne,

"it looks like it's almost time" said Jive petting Cloud.

Cloud now looked completely different not only was she bigger in size, she seemed more intelligent as if she could understand everything that Jive said, after then she closed her eyes as if she wanted to sleep.
