Finally someone who can pick this up, This story is what made me start reading Chinese novels but it was super slow on releasing chapters. 5 stars for you guys picking this up.

There should be long review i wrote, but qidian cleared my 600 word long review when i swapped tabs, so ill be short. Half of what i read i felt like filler. Second half i read felt like it wasnt following itself. I mean it was contradicting what was stated in earlier chapters.

It may be good, i dont know. What i know there is too much filler to handle for me. And since there is min quota for words in review let me nag about often seen cliches and braindead characters (sometimes).

This story is amazing! It has an engaging fictional universe, relatable yet deep characters, and lots of both action and comedy. I eagerly await the next chapter’s release every day. Great job author!

The story is great , the plot , the character development , everything is good if you look at it from another perspective but for me what i don't like about this is just the story is way too slow , like an arc is like 100-200 chapters with different perspective , but overall it's a good novel

Utterly disappointed with this Novel. I really would like to not be bias and write a full review but the ultra inconsistent updates are holding me back. I've followed this novel from a long while back since it was being translated at Radiant Scans website. Until the translator went MIA and updated it once a month. Was so glad that it came here since Qidian has quite a reputation to behold regarding its consistency with updates. How wrong I was. It started with 10 chaps / week. It was then reduced to 5 chaps / week. And then back to MIA. How would I remember the story progression, character development etc if the translator ( I believe it is still the same translator ) does not update it consistently? No offense to Qidian International or the translator but I'm not sure if this is permissible in this profession. But hey I am just a reader so I'm just gonna wait for the future of this novel. Hopefully a better one.

Great novel!! I like how the story develops and the pairing of the mc and carolyn is quite cute and i specially like naughty and funny simba when he praises himself as high and mighty, So i quite recommend this if not for the slow release of chapters

Same story as the other 2 skeleton wizard story just with a different background and cultivation system. Because the storyline is the same as other stories of this author I can only say that it needs variation, even though the storyline is not bad. But what really bugs me is the translator. One chapter per month with a story of over 1000 chapters does not work, and the translation quality is not that good that I find the long waiting times acceptable. If qidian can't improve this they might as well stop the translation until a better translator is found. As for the story itself it is not bad and the world it plays out in is pretty unique. The mc has the same pros and cons as the mc's from this author's other stories. Good guy who hates the limelight but has an alter ego that everybody knows about. And because the mc tries so hard to not stand out and not join in with what everyone else does he creates enemies that force him to do the things that he doesn't want to do (yeah staying lowkey works out great... I sometimes wonder why writers still have mc's with these characteristics, it's so predictable and not entertaining). Been reading this on another website since it first came out and in my opinion it's one of Skeleton Wizard's best works. While its very cliche and the MC is still super OP, the story differs from his other stories (Tempest of the Battlefield and Tempest of the Stellar War) in that the story progression is slower and the MC is more low key. What I am trying to say is that the story is more detailed than his usual and I feel like the combat is more complex/interesting.

This is a good novel in many ways but the ending absolutely sucks, to the point where I would even recommend people NOT to read it. There are several clear arcs, based on the MC's progression to "the next stage". Each of the arcs in themselves are very well written, and my favourite is the first arc, because of the fights, although I've read people complaining about the slow pace. I loved the build up of the fights, and the author took the time to bring in other characters so that the fights mean something, not like other novels where characters turn up for one chapter for the specific reason of being face slapping targets for MC. (It's like the difference between MCU and DCU! 😝) However, the novel ends really abruptly on the 4th arc, and it's clear that it's a forced ending, with many unresolved questions. It's such a bad ending that I can no longer go back and reread this novel again, because no matter how thrilling the fights are, I now know that they just don't lead anywhere. anyway, read this novel for thrilling fight scenes, but beware the horrible ending! 👻

Nice story, it's not harem. But the annoying parts took away the good points it earned. The fights drag for too long. Adds more powerful enemies and suddenly out of the blue mc also has hidden power that is not discussed before. At one point it made me feel like a masochist for reading this cause of all the difficulties mc has to overcome.

it's already a long time ago I finished this novel, but this novel keep appearing on my free limited time novel, it's quite annoying. hope with this review, this novel won't appearing anymore.

This story was so addictive to read and still one of my top favorite books but the ending was absolutely disappointing which is sad because up until the last arc it was a solidly enjoyable ride.

if you want a writer who constantly digs at the MC, and makes him seem like the worst, then enjoy! this book is for you. if you want a book to read because the others you're more interested in are still in development, than by all means. it's the only reason I am reading this aggravating novel.

at long last I have completed this series. its a good story, but like others, it became bored in the middle. maybe because the story keep dragged out.

It started out very well. Story build up and writing were fantastic. World building was excellent and detailed. The ending though... is worse than the last 3 seasons of Game of Thrones combined. There were more plot holes than a grater. Unbelievable how the entire story was ruined there at the end by rushing. Felt like there should have been at least another 150 chapters.
