"Hey.. you got this. her life depends on you." Lisa softly said encouraging him. Nodding he then wiped his hands taking aim, as he locked on with the rampaging hunter firing the shit.

'Bang!' The bullet was fast cutting through air immediately meeting it's target, who managed to raise his huge robot arms blocking the shot. Looking at them the hunter smirked slyly, ignoring them and still going for Atlanta.

'Fuck! I missed.' Ryan cursed inwardly but he didn't have time, Atlanta's life depended on him. Taking aim he steadied his gaze, narrowing his focus to the hunter his target marked as he fired off.

'Bang!' The shot was fast going with speed as it collided with the hunter's head, specifically the eyes stopping his momentum.

"Yes!" Ryan and Lisa excitedly cheered but their faces turned to that of horror, seeing the hunter not dead as only one of his eyes was missing.

The hunter then smiled sadistically to them, ignoring Atlanta and giving them his full attention.

"N-no.. focus on me." Atlanta barely spoke but the hunter wasn't interested in her anymore, leaving her bones to be picked by the other hunters. Spinning his shield fast he swung it off to Ryan and Lisa stunned a bit, staring in shock.

'Crash! Clang!' The shield collided with the truck destroying it's side, causing it's already damaged metal roof top to cave in on ryan and Lisa.

"No!" Atlanta screamed like the life had just been drained from her, she didn't care about the other hunters attacks on her seeing her parents crushed like that.

A new kind of energy surged in her as she could feel more strength flowing in her, senses sharpened.

Atlanta felt the nanites once again in her system, working lightening fast regenerating her wounded area's.

'What the fuck.' The hunters were shocked seeing Atlanta getting up to her feet, but what stunned them more was the level in which she was healing.

"What kind of tech does she have?"

"How can she still stand after all that."

"This is getting scary, I didn't sign up for this." Fear filled their hearts, staring at the strange girl with a sadistically weird smile on her face holding the purple bow.

"You took the only people I cared about from me."

"Again, hmhmm.." She chuckled softly, gripping the bow tightly as it straightened turning into a kind of 5 inch sword.

"Give them back!" She shouted, speeding forward and in an instant she reached the first hunter. using the bow she slashed at the man's throat, severing his head blood spilling everywhere.

Two hunters with energy swords tried their luck but Atlanta was way faster and powerful, killing them in an instant. The others tried to flee but she didn't let them, not showing mercy as she slaughtered them mercilessly.

'Bam!' Atlanta was sent crashing to a wall, as the bulky hunter slammed his body into her's. He'd been feeling good about himself killing Ryan and Lisa, but was surprised to see Atlanta standing up. Not only that, but she managed to kill every one of his team.

"You traitor! your a hunter." He angrily said, annoyed by the fact Atlanta was betraying her own kind.

"Hahaha." She softly giggled, brushing some strands of her hair blocking her view. "Are you really that dumb or just annoying."

"Shut up!" He carried a rock sending it to Atlanta. She had a calm expression standing there as she swiftly used her bow to cut the rock into two, purple cracks of currents sizzling around her.

"What kind of tech do you have." The bulky hunter was surprised and impressed, by the strange level of tech she had infused with her.

"Why don't I show you." Pressing her leg back a bit she shot forward, reaching the bulky male hunter in an instant slamming her bow like sword at him. The latter managed to get his shield up just in time, absorbing the energy redirecting it back to her.

'Bam!' It blasted out the purple energy but Atlanta had already moved, slashing her weapon at his back drawing out blood.

"Argh! You fucking runt.!" He screamed. even though most part of his body were infused with robotic parts, Atlanta's weapon had managed to cut through his defenses.

Sending a kick to his ribs she sent him a few meters back, not stopping she moved again continuously slashing her weapon.

'Bang! bang! boom!' Various bang and boom sounds went off, as Atlanta and the bulky hunter collided. Everytime Atlanta moved, purple cracks of electric currents followed as she subconsciously released her raw energy.

"Why don't you die!" The hunter screamed attempting to punch her head, but she was too fast avoiding and sending out a punch instead.

The hunter could feel his body going weak, as blood seeped out from the deep wounds he sustained. He could feel his energy being drained somehow, by ways he couldn't process.

In a desperate move he slammed his shield to the ground as it glowed brighter than ever, firing off all the gathered energy from Atlanta.

'Boom!' A small explosion went off as the blast sent her skidding backwards few steps, all the holes in her body leaked blood.

"Is that all you have." She chuckled maniacly, making the bulky hunter stare in disbelief. Stomping her foot hard to the ground, purple crack of energy vividly surged around her as the bow glowed a bright purple. Her hair dancing in the wind as newfound energy surged in her, rampaging to be released.

"Come on!" The hunter screamed, placing his metal blue shield in front.

'Boom!' With a single step the ground beneath her cracked, denting down a bit. her body moved like purple lightning as she stood at the other end of the hunter, her weapon pointed forward.

"H-how." He softly said as his shield cut in two fell with a clang to the ground, with his body splitting in two falling to the ground.

[Quest completed..]

Atlanta saw the system's message flash across her retina but she wasn't interested, as she went over to where her parents were.

"Mom! dad!" She screamed picking up the metal rubbles, a stinging pain striked her heart imagining her parents dead.

"N-no.. you can't leave me not again." She cried, falling to her knees all hope lost for her.

"Phough! p-hough." She heard some coughing sounds, causing her hope to be rekindled.

"Mom dad!" She screamed, drawing them out from the rubble and hugging them tightly not caring in the world.

"Easy kid, we're still injured ya know." Ryan sarcastically said to which they all smiled, laughing it off.

"Thank you~" Lisa softly said to which Atlanta nodded, her body tingling all over.

"Well well well.. now what do we have here." Just when they thought it was over, they heard a voice from behind. turning, they could see a female with two blue robotic legs holding a blue whip reaching the floor, emitting energy.

"Useless." She muttered, seeing her fellow hunters killed horribly by the group.

"To think I wouldn't have shown my face..."

"I'll have to hand it to you lads. You managed to kill my entire squad, and not to mention my right hand man a lv3 hunter." She said, making Ryan and Lisa face go wide a bit as they stared at Atlanta who remained calm, unfazed by any of what this new hunter just said.

"I'm impressed. Now you have my full attention." she smiled as the whip cracked more fiercely, with blue currents sizzling out from it.

[Quest received! defeat the lv4 hunter in front to unlock special rewards.]

The system message confirmed it, as Atlanta knew this foe in front was vividly stronger than the rest she'd just fought. She wasn't afraid or concerned, as she could feel her body more lighter, faster, and stronger.

"I need you guys to go back to the resistance and call for backup."

"Uh-uhh.. no way we're leaving you here. We never run from a fight." Ryan clearly declared, causing a bitter smile to form on Atlanta's face.

"I know.. but I need you guys to be safe and call for backup. I can't beat her, I can tell she's too strong but I'll manage to hold her until you return."

"But-" Ryan wanted to speak but Lisa softly touched his shoulders.

"She's right. As much as I also want to stay and fight, there's nothing we can do. She can handle herself without bothering about us, but we'll just be a burden to her if we stay." Realizing what she meant, Ryan had a frown on his face as she was right. Atlanta had a better chance of focusing on the hunter, without having to worry about them.

"Fine. but you better not die!"

"Of course." Atlanta smiled, as Ryan and Lisa then went back heading to the resistance base in search of backup.

"Leaving so soon. I didn't expect them to leave you alone to die. Geez.. so much for team." The female hunter smiled, seeing Atlanta abandoned by her team.

"Nah.. they just wanted me to have more fun before I kill you." Atlanta smiled, causing the female hunter's smile to turn into a frown.

"We'll see about that." She coldly said, as she and Atlanta were about to brawl to the death.
