"Atlanta you have to wake up, he's coming." "Atlanta!"

"Ahh!" She screamed out loud from her sleep, jolting Rhoin who'd decided to take a little nap besides her not leaving her location.

"Calm down Atlanta.. am here for you. You're alright." He softly spoke, placing his hands on her shoulders calming her down a bit.

"T-thanks.." she thanked Rhoin and even shockingly hugged the latter, causing him to be stunned as he never expected this outcome.

"For everything.."

"You're welcome." He smiled hugging her back, gently brushing his hands against her back. He could hear stiffed sobs from her as he sensed she was crying, which made his heart sting more. Calming herself down, she then gently sat up straight with the help of Rhoin as her body still hurt all over.

"What happened?' She asked, staring at Rhoin for an answer. her head was kind of blurry right now, so she couldn't clearly recall what transpired while she's still in the fortifier.

"Wait.. you don't remember?" Rhoin was shocked, Atlanta didn't remember what just happened to her. He thought she pretended, but looking at her he could see she clearly was confused and didn't know what happened.

Judging from it, he guessed two factors caused this. First was the lengthy amount of time she spent in the fortifier, though he wasn't certain he'd read about the machine it's features and functions. He knew the longer a person stayed inside the more ion currents transferred to the brain, resulting in disorder or worst cases mental breakdown. Second was the trauma she'd went through in the fortifier. He didn't know how it felt to lose someone, or witness one's parent die before their eyes as he hadn't lost anyone. but still, that didn't mean he did not feel her pain. As a medical trainee and a friend, he knew trauma could do a lot of damage to oneself especially the mind.

"Ok.." he then told her everything that happened while she was still in the fortifier, with detailed explanation. Her eyes widen a bit sometimes, hearing the little tale Rhoin told she couldn't believe it.

She'd managed to pass the easy medium hard, and even unlocked a new stage in the fortifier. She didn't know if she was to feel happy or sad having broken the record, as she carefully listened.

"I can't believe I went through all that, and still can't remember anything."

"Yeah.. I know it's hard to believe but you stayed in there for a long time, and besides you went through some heartbreaking traumas." Thinking about it, Atlanta was undoubtedly shocked by all what happened while she was in the fortifier. Balls of tears streamed down her cheeks, remembering seeing her parents one last time.

[Host sadness level 64. Atlanta if it means anything to you, am sorry you had to go through all of that.] Nexus softly spoke in her head, causing her mood to lighten up a bit.

'Nexus, you're finally back.'

[Of course! I couldn't let a knuckle head like you to die.. that would make me a bad mentor.]

'That's new. I didn't expect you to possess a sense of humor.' Atlanta chuckled inwardly, sensing the hint of humor Nexus used in his tone.

Staring at the system notifications her jaw unknowingly dropped, as she couldn't believe what she was witnessing right now.

"Are you alright?" Rhoin asked concerned, seeing Atlanta's sudden change in expression.

"N-no.. am alright." She smiled a bit, making Rhoin concerns to diminish a bit. Calming herself down she tried not to scream, carefully reading the system messages filling her view.

'What the hell.. I-i levelled up 9 times?' Atlanta couldn't believe she'd managed to lv up 9 times, and even evolve to the next stage. Her head was hurting as she tried to process what she was seeing now, but the information was just too much causing her to have a sudden migraine.

'Status.' Not wanting to waste time, she called for her status telepathically as a new screen pulled up on her view.

[Primordial fallen battle angel devil (primordial tier): as a primordial fallen battle angel devil this class increases user's stats and effects from weapons by ×40% making user experience a tip of her true form. Will increase to 45% once in battle frenzy mode.

Increases regenerating process by 10% and upon next evolution user will unlock her angel and devil energies.

Note: once chosen user cannot switch class again forever and has a chance to tap into the primordial energy. User's hp points will drop by one every two minutes and can only be replaced by killing.)]

[Seek lv1: user is able to mark targeted individual increasing chance to apply critical strike against enemy defenses. Cost 8 battle points.]

[Immunity lv1: for a duration of 10 minutes user's body will become resistant to every attack taken reducing the damage by 15%. Costs 10 battle points]

[Energy blast lv1 (new skill!): user is able to direct her raw energy into any part of her body or weapon creating a much larger blast of electric current covering a larger radius of 5 meters. (Cost 10 energy points per blast.)]

[Steal Blink lv1 (new skill!) For a consumption of 15 battle points user is able to steal the agility of someone higher than her's moving with otherworldly speed.

(Can only be activated twice per day.)]

[Death strike (new skill!) When the user is on last legs she can direct all the energy points stored dealing it in a last attempt strike to her enemy.

[Pandora's bow: a bow crafted from the 8th most powerful energy in the world. This bow was delicately crafted by one of the best weapons craftsman and left to absorb a great amount of Pandora's energy for 7 days earning it a respectable spot at the epic tier.

[Durability: 2000/3000]

[Nevatium energy handgun: crafted from rare components of metals and equipped with the 13th most strongest energy ever found. Can fire up to 5 energy blast shots per second and ammunition can only be replaced with processed nevatium quills.]

[Plasma ray hand gun: a metal handgun crafted to perfectly fit the user's hand which fires off ray of plasma beams continuously. This weapon is at the intermediate tier and costs 500 system points to buy.]

[Pandora's bow: stylishly crafted arrows made from raw Pandora's energy. This weapon is at the rare stage and can create a blast reaching up to two meters. Costs 400 system points each.]

[Flash bomb: a normal small metal ball that explodes after two sec creating a bright white light stunning enemies momentarily. Costs 20 system points each.]

[Energy pill: once taken restores 30 points of user's energy and costs 50 system points for each purchase.]

Looking at the screen Atlanta was shocked to the core, her expression was left blank seeing her new status screen materialize in her gaze. She didn't know why, but she felt a cold wave wash over her as she read everything in her status panel.

'I-i.. my stats, they've improved.' She thought shocked, seeing her stats go up great amounts of points. She could also see her hp, energy, battle points and so on had added in numbers, with the addition of another icon which was termed system points.

Judging from the name, she had a preview of the description but she still wasn't sure yet, as she needed a lot of time to thoroughly go through them.

'I-i unlocked some skills.' She could see she'd unlocked three new skills, which were undoubtedly useful in their own ways. But she frowned a bit, noticing the increasing in the required energy and battle points for the activation of the skills.

Going down she could see she'd unlocked a new icon which was labeled weapons section, where she saw some weapons there mainly the one's she'd used in the fortifier. She didn't know how, but she wasn't sure about anything anymore. She also saw she'd unlocked the system shop, as valuable items were there along with the system store.

"Atlanta.." she immediately removed the screen from her view, as Rhoin's soft words pulled her out from her trance.

"Yes?" she softly said staring at Rhoin. she could see he was fidgeting a bit, his head bent down as he rolled his fingers together.

"I want to ask you a question, and I need you to be sincere with me." He said his tone becoming more serious, as he raised his head up staring into Atlanta's eye.
