Battered Young Miss

This novel somewhat depicts violence in olden times. Like you're not allowed to do something unless you're told to do it. The death defying actions of each character is not human at all.

I felt like it was too dark and for someone who has a depression like me, it gives me more reason to not hope for something after reading it to until the current chapter. But if that's what the writer was aiming for then I'll give a thumbs up. Sadness, loneliness, betrayal, anger are all emotions we all have. And the author was able to portray it well. It's really good, just not my cup.
