124 PREPARATION
Bruce and Selina stood before the medic room. Before them was lying the dead Kryptonian.
"Jarvis said there is a revival pool," She looked toward Bruce, "Are you going to use that?"
"No," Bruce replied, shaking his head, "We don't even know if he is good or bad or how long has this guy been stuck inside the stasis chamber. If we revive him, who knows what he would do? He might go on a rampage. That is too big a risk to take. Let him remain dead."
"So, what now?" Selina asked curiously.
"Now, I'm going to study this corpse and uncover the secret behind their power. If I can somehow do that and apply that genetic modifications to us, or maybe somehow unlock our full potential, then in the future, Kryptonians won't be much of a threat to us," Bruce muttered, taking a closer look at the corpse.
"Genetic modification? You mean, like the SSS?" Selina asked, concerned. She remembers the screams of Bruce when he took the serum.
"No," he shook his head. "This would be different. A full genetic restructure. The SSS merely makes the physical body tougher than normal and makes one resistant to most of the elements. Right now with the advanced nanites, I can do it without much pain. Just need to uncover the secrets of this body and humanity will evolve beyond our wildest dreams. And when the time comes, we will be ready."
Selina remained quiet.
"While I'm stuck in here with this research, you will be in charge of R&D department. Diana and Pamela will be in charge of the usual patrols and watch duty. Things are getting quiet now, but you never know. And Selina, this base will be under lockdown until I finish my research. I don't want any type of distraction."
"Understood."

Months passed...
While Bruce was working on the Kryptonian ships and the dead body, he kept an eye on the news. What caught his eyes was the news of an unknown man, who carried a shinking ship on his shoulder and brought it back safely on land, preventing deaths. There wasn't any proper footage or picture of him, but Bruce knew the real identity of that man.
"So, Clark finally decided to use his power?" He mumbled while putting the final touches to his new nanites.

[Sol System]
The Kryptonian ships finally entered the Sol system. Zod was sitting in the command room with his second-in-command Faora on the other seat.
"Sir. We have entered the Solar System. Within 14 hours we will reach Earth," She stated as Zod nodded.
"Begin the terraform once we reach Earth and find Kal El and bring him before me," Zod ordered, causing Faora to nod as they approached the planet.

[Earth]
[Beep!] [Beep!] The satellites caught the signal of alien ships and alerted Bruce immediately. He quickly used Jarvis to find their location and what he discovered was surprising. Six Kryptonian ships were approaching Earth.
"These fools entered the solar system."
Jarvis showed the coordinates where they had been detected.
"How much time would it take them to arrive at Earth?" He asked as Jarvis was analyzing their trajectory.
"If my analysis is correct, it would take 13 hours," Jarvis informed as Bruce tapped the control panel to contact the rest of his allies.
In the conference room, the holographic faces of Selina, Diana, Pamela, Floyd, Mr Freeze, Oliver, Barry, Alice, Elana, Lucius, and Thomas were seen as Bruce announced. "They are here. Six Kryptos ships. If my prediction is right, which always is, they will land in Metropolis and the casualties will be massive. We have less than 13 hours. So, prepare for the worst. If Superman doesn't show up, it will be on us to stop them. I've sent some new weapons and armor to your locations... And guys, I'll be a bit late, so, do your best and don't die."
"Let's say Superman shows up and these Kryptonians are as strong as you say, then can you even imagine the destruction we are about to witness? Their fight will tear apart the city... not to mention their terraform technology," Lucius asked, expressing his thoughts.
"That's why those new suits and weapons. We will intercept them in space before they reach Earth. Diana," Bruce turned toward Diana, "I'm sending you Clark's location. Tell him what's coming. And I need to know if he will fight or not."
"I'm on it," Diana left the chat, and her holographic face was gone.
"Barry, Dad, Floyd, and Alice, you will be our last line of defense. If they somehow reach the ground, it's you four who will hold them back and as for Lucius, I'll leave the plasma weapon control to you. You see any ship entering the atmosphere, blow them up. And keep an eye on the sky and comms," He explained and nodded to Lucius who understood what he had to do. "Well, if you want to stay down and wait, feel free. I won't force anyone to risk their lives. It was your choice," Bruce stared at the others.
They were silent but no one agreed to retreat. "Then let's go kill us some aliens! I won't miss this time," Floyd shouted enthusiastically.
"Hmph!" Alice only responded in a grumpy voice, making Bruce understand her stance.
"I promise I'll take you to space next time," Bruce stated, gazing at the projection of Alice.
She grumbled a bit more before silently agreeing, but before leaving her screen, she added with an eager, wicked grin, "If you keep that promise, I'll give you a special gift."
Everyone agreed to this almost suicide mission.
Human vs Kryptonians.
Anyone could imagine what the situation would be like if the Kryptonians won the battle.
Bruce had sent them the weapons and armor he made with the Kryptonian tech he found inside the ship. Well, he made them even better. Plus he imbued them with a trace of Skylar's power. If anyone is on the verge of death or about to face an impossible-to-dodge attack, the lightning energy within their suits will activate and teleport them to safety. Each suit has three charges. And by doing this, Bruce overused the ring's energy. He only has enough power to teleport once.
Well, Bruce planned to use remote-controlled suits to fight them, but due to the fight taking place in space, the signal would be very difficult to maintain. Besides, they won't be fighting alone there.
He left the conference room and walked toward the hidden armory that not even Selina was aware of.
"You Krypto fuckers," He switched on the light.
There were a hundred nano-suits neatly placed on the right and twenty modified Hulk busters on the left. He made them over the years whenever he got time to work on them. It wasn't easy at first but after developing the nanites, it became very easy since the nanites can self-replicate themselves. All he had to do was feed them raw materials and let the nano-particles do the rest.
"It's time to show you the power of technology from another universe and by the time I'm done with you fucks, not even your dead bodies will remain," Bruce's eyes gazed coldly at the suit while a twisted smirk surfaced on his face. "Jarvis, upload Wednesday and Thursday to Selina's and Pamela's suit. They will control this legion of armor and wreak those bastards apart. I've put everything that I've learned in the past life and this life into them. Hope, it's enough."
On a nearby table were five vials of bright yellow liquid. Bruce went and picked up one of them and observed it with his vision.
"Sir. Are you sure about this?" Jarvis questioned.
"Yes, Jarvis. There isn't any other way. Evolution is the only way to protect this world. Prep the Genetic Reconstructure Pod. It's time for a metamorphosis."

[A.R.G.U.S. BASE]
Waller's team has also caught the foreign signal from space. Right now, they are preparing the Suicide Squad to fight and kill any extraterrestrial threat and recover their technology. With Floyd gone, she had to put Bloodspot on the Squad as the leader. The other members were King Shark, Enchantress, Polka Dot Man, Ratcatcher 2, and a couple of other supervillains.
While she was busy making a deal with them, the shrunk nano suit flew through the gaps in the door and entered the sealed facility.
The blonde girl in chains looked at the shrunken suit.
"Who the fuck are you?" She inquired with her weak voice.
The suit then started expanding and soon grew to normal size, revealing the figure inside the suit.
"I'm Talia al Ghul and I'm here to save you."

AN: How did she survive that long? Obviously, she's small, so, she just stole whatever food she wanted. As for shower, I don't know.đ
