53 Don't waste it...

It's been a month, a whole month since Gwen began her hell Jeff called training. Her only saving grace through the whole ordeal being Sebastian.

*huff* huff* Gwen was panting as she stepped out of the simulation room completely soaked in her own sweat. "Thank you Sebastian" she spoke as sh took the towel and bottle of water offered to her by Sebastian.

"It's a pleasure miss", Sebastian spoke with his kind grandfather smile on his face.

The Batmobile pulled in, with Batman jumping out and heading straight for his computer only to be stopped by Gwen. "Hey Jeff! " Batman stopped and turned to face her hearing her call for him.

"Where were you?" " taking down an illegal arms market" "okay and the court?" "what about them?" Jeff questioned back.

"I thought when you brought me in on this you said we would be going after the court that we would make them pay for what they did to my Dad, but all you've done for the past month is stop petty thieves, drug warehouses, and illegal arms markets leaving me here with Sebastian and those annoying bots-"

Gwen's rant was cut off by a batarang which flew straight at her head without any warning. "what the hell?!" Gwen screamed as she caught the batarang mere inches away from her face.

"Leaving you here is so you can train and improve yourself, and those things you deem useless are helping to destroy the courts business without their business they begin to run out funds and lose control of the criminal underworld without that, they are just a bunch of old men who are easy to take out." At the end of the Batman's words he was standing right before Gwen with the pressure he was emanating, causing her to remain silent.

"well I could help, I still think I should be out there with you rather than stuck in this cave all the time." Gwen argued back, " you're not ready" were the only words Batman left Gwen before he received an important call.

A few hours before Batman received the call, Somewhere in Afghanistan.

Guns were fired in a cave by three men, one stopped to speak to the other when he was hit to the side by a metal arm.

The other two didn't hesitate and continued to fire but their guns proved ineffective against the metal humanoid who proceeded to take them all out.

The figure continued walking through a tunnel where it was met with more gunfire, seeing their weapons were ineffective one of them stupidly charged at the metal humanoid whilst screaming and was smacked into a wall.

The metal continued his journey tearing through their pitiful defense like paper. Some of the remaining men were able to run and close the metal doors behind them before turning to face it with their guns, praying it could hold back whatever the thing back there was.

Unfortunately one man was too late and was stuck behind the gates banging and pleading to be let in. The people heard it but didn't make a move to open the gates as the heavy thuds got louder signaling the metal humanoid was close.

The man's screams got louder and even more desperate before they came to an end. The screams they heard were now replaced with heavy thuds which caused visible deformations in the gate.

The men didn't hesitate and took to their heels, right in time as the gates were smashed open only moments later.

It was chaos as the men run for their lives, during the metal humanoid's rampage one of it's arms got lodged into a wall and it began struggling to free it's arm when one man took notice of this.

The man pulled out his hand gun and slowly made his way to the metal humanoid before shooting at its head only for the bullet to ricochet and take him out.

The metal humanoid finally took notice of him, but payed him no heed as it pulled it's hands free.

The metal humanoid made it to the entrance only to be fired at with a grenade launcher which fortunately missed, before it responded with a rocket of it's own.

The metal humanoid seeing there were no more injuries came over to the side of an injured man taking of it's visor, it was revealed that this was none other than Tony Stark.

"come on we got to go" Tony spoke to the man who laid on some sacks bleeding. "I'm moving you we had a plan come on stick to it" Tony spoke once more "This was always the plan Stark" Ho Yinsen spoke in a faint voice.

"come on, you're going to see your family get up" Tony continued, " my family's dead... I'm going to see them now Stark." Ho Yinsen's words caused Tony to remain silent.

"it's okay... I want this, I want this" Ho Yinsen struggled to speak. Tears began to form into Tony's eyes " thank you for saving me" "don't waste it... don't waste your life" Ho Yinsen left his last words before shutting his eyes.
