Asgard pt2

The batarangs flew straight up knocking the dark elves weapon out of its arms as the other went straight for the elves faces disorienting it long enough for Volstagg to rush in screaming with his battle axe which he used to split the elf in half.

Batman did not stand still during this though, he rushed for another elf grabbing a spear from one of the fallen guards which he spun around to serve as a shield against the shots fired from the elf's weapon. His actions paid off as he soon drew close forcing the elf to engage him in close combat.

Using the spear to his advantage Batman soon disarmed the elf in all but a few moments before thrusting his spear into the elf's throat. Batman looked into the elf's eyes as the life drained from its body, before letting go allowing for the elf to fall to he floor spear still lodged within its throat.

The battle around Batman grew more intense with more and more Asgardian warriors rushing in to engage the dark elves in battle. Without the energy shields more elves made their way in but Batman ignored the and focused on the elf he was sure was Malekith heading further in.

Batman wasted no time chasing after him quickly disposing of any that dared to get close to him. But as the elves increased he was slowed down a bit.

With Frigga she glared at Malekith who had arrived attempting to get his hands on Jane, she pulled out her knife to engage him in battle.

The knife went straight for Malekith's eye but he was quick slamming her hands away from his eye causing her attack to swing by him harmlessly.

But the queen was not one to go down easily as she continued her attack sending an elbow into Malekith's jaw stopping him from getting close before sending a stomp into his chest and further away.

Seeing him on the ground attempting to make it back to his feet she gripped her knife and charged for him effortlessly making her way over the furniture and arriving above him.

But with her knife mere inches away from him, a massive amount of force came at her from the side sending her sprawling across the floor with the knife sliding away from her.

She let out a grunt of pain as she attempted to reach out for it but she was then lifted up by her assailant who held her in such a tight choke hold that she could barely breathe much less fight her way out of.

She continued her futile struggle as Malekith cornered Jane who attempted to escape during the chaos.

With his hand passing through her though, Malekith realised then and there that she was merely an illusion conjured by the Queen's magic.

He proceeded to turn to her furious asking of the whereabouts of Jane, but as a Queen Frigga refused to surrender. "Then you can die" was Malekith's response as the assailant behind her moved to fulfill his Kings orders.

A whistling sound was immediately heard followed by the grunts of pain from her assailant as his hand got cut off. Frigga fell to the ground knee first as she desperately filled her lungs with air.

The individuals in the room turned to the source of the attack to see a man dressed in all black with his cape an even darker shade of black his helm had to pointy bits sticking out with the symbol of a bat upon his chest.

Frigga had never seen the man before but had heard tales of the man from her son Thor. If she remembered correctly then he was one of her sons friends, man of Bats Thor said.

As Frigga took in the appearance of her savior the creature which had lost its am began to charge for the man of bats who had taking a battle stance ready to deal with the creature. Malekith on the other hand turned to me not caring to focus on the battle it was as though his victory was already assured.

*Thud* sizzle* Mjolnir connected with the side of his face charring it and causing him to let out a ghastly scream. The scream caused the creature who was about to make contact with the man of bats to stop and run to his side to help him up moving towards the balcony they attempted to escape.

The man of bats and Thor however where not willing to see that, the man of Bats chased after them with his batarangs at hand with Thor calling to Mjolnir who returned to his arms. The both of them let their weapons loose with the batarangs being the first to make contact taking away the creatures other hand in the process with Mjolnir sending the two of the balcony.

Unfortunately it was not to their deaths as they fell into their ship flying away, Thor saw this and abandoned the thoughts of pursuit as he rushed to his mothers side asking if she was okay, his eyes fixated to her neck where a very visible bruise laid.
