16 SG1

SG1 hearing news of Apophis's death from Bra'tac of the Planet Chulak was given a mission from General Hammond to go investigate the new intel and then report back to him.

Jack O'Neill, Daniel Jackson, Samantha Carter, and Teal'c all went through the stargate. When they reached the other side, they were greeted by Bra'tac and the wife and son of Teal'c. They exchanged pleasantries and then got down to do business.

"Well, I was going to ask where the Goa'uld ship was, but it seems I don't have to ask" Jack said as he saw the huge ship nearby.

"and you say a giant red man may have done this?" Asked Samantha.

Bra'tac nodded his head. "Yes, he referred to himself as Sisyphus. He deceived us and made us believe he worked for Apophis before taking off with the goa'ld larva as we were distracted".

Daniel Jackson perked up upon hearing the name. "On earth, Sisyphus was a legendary greek King who cheated death not just once, but twice. He was most famous for tricking Thanatos using his cunning and making enemies of the gods. He is said to be a terrible man that had very little morals".

"Well maybe it's just a guy with the same name?" Said Jack as everyone looked his way with a look of 'Really? how common is a name like Sisyphus?'

Bra'tac led the way onto Apophis ship and SG1 all split up to look around.

Not long after Daniel called out to the group. "You guys should really come look at this, I've never seen anything like it".

Daniel had found some sort of surveillance system tech and had activated it. It recorded motion, it even had video of them walking onto the ship and looking around.

"What is it Daniel? Asked Samantha. Daniel waited for everyone to gather around him before playing the video which showed a giant red monster of a man wearing a t-shirt that said 'What doesn't kill you, disappoints me' in english. Under the words on the shirt was a smiling cat that appeared to be eating a taco. They watched as this man started tearing through the ship and landing in the corridor before closing the hole back up and starting a rampage.

"Wha-" Said Jack, confused at what he was seeing.

Daniel shushed him "Just keep watching".

The four SG1 members plus Bra'tac watched in horror as the Monster made his way through the ship leaving only death and destruction in his path and using technology they had never seen before and some they had, but only in fiction.

Daniel spoke up. "Was that a lightsaber?" They had a version of star wars in the stargate universe so they had seen something like it before.

"Cool" Said Jack.

Teal'c nodded. "Indeed".

Samantha Carter upon seeing the monsters clothes slowly burn away after being fired upon many times couldn't help but feel weird as she saw his huge red penis sway back and forth as he walked around. Realizing she could only focus on it and nothing else,, she tried to look everywhere but the screen. As a doctor, she had seen quite a lot, but something about the sheer size of his manhood made her turn away embarrassed. It was different from anything she had ever seen before.

Jack upon seeing the naked monster, spoke up again. "Can't compete with that"

They watched the red man easily kill everyone inside the ship including Apophis within thirty minutes and when the video ended they sat in silence a few seconds. All of them wondering if this was a new threat they had to be wary of. Noticing saved video footage for outside the ship, Daniel clicked on it.

They saw the red man push off the ship and onto a bike with what looked like a young Japanese girl waiting for him. The Bike seemed to appear out of thin air when he landed on it.

Samantha seeing this, couldn't believe her eyes once again. "Is that a flying motorcycle?"

Jack nodded his head. "Not just any motorcycle, but an altered Japanese motorcycle with what appears to be a real live Japanese girl on it. I've seen this bike before, just never saw one fly or be so heavily altered. Still, no mistaking it".

Samantha Carter threw her hands up in frustration. "None of this makes sense. how are we supposed to report this to General Hammond? He will surely think we have all gone crazy. We need to take this video footage as proof".

The four gathered the video footage up and then traveled back through the stargate. After walking through, General Hammond spoke through a mic behind reinforced bullet proof glass. "Welcome back SG1, prepare for debriefing."

The four all looked at each other, still shocked at what they had seen. Samantha looked at Jack. "Sir, I think it's best if you take lead on this one".

"Lucky me". said Jack as he carried the recording device to the debriefing room, the other three SG1 members following behind him.

Once they were in the conference room, General Hammond looked up at them and spoke. "So what's the verdict? Is Apophis really dead?"

"Oh yeah" said Jack as he played the video from start to finish for General Hammond who just like them, had a hard time believing what he was seeing.

"What in the world.... Is that a lightsaber?" Asked General Hammond.

"Neat right?" replied Jack in response.

When the video ended, Daniel Jackson started to educate everyone on the myth and lore of Sisyphus. "If this guy is the Sisyphus from Greek mythology, then he's not a good guy". Said Jackson.

"How so?" Asked Hammond.

"Well, Sisyphus earned the crown by founding the Kingdom of Ephyra, which he populated with people grown out of mushrooms. Sisyphus then married Merope, one of the seven Pleiades daughters of the Titan Atlas and Pleione. Sisyphus also later violated his beautiful niece Tyro, his brothers daughter. He was known to take many of his enemies daughters to bed. In his time on Earth, Sisyphus killed, ravaged women, and stole. His lore however, comes not from his ill treatment of his niece or other mortals, but from the application of his cunning in his relations with the Gods. Sisyphus was the craftiest and most cunning of men who on more than one occasion tricked many different gods, Most notably Thanatos".

After Daniel was done talking, General Hammond sat back in his chair. "I see, to live for so long, do we suspect he might be a Goa'ld?"

"I don't think so. I think we are dealing with something new all together." replied Daniel.

"Could it be that he just shares the same name?" Asked Hammond.

Jack not missing a beat replied in place of Daniel. "When I asked the same question, they all looked at me like I was loony".

Daniel ignored Jack and replied to Hammond. "I don't know, we need more information. He seems to also have ties with modern earth somehow, specifically Japan. Though, I was under the impression that we were the only ones aware of aliens and the stargate".

General Hammond stood up from his seat. "I want a written report from all of you on my desk by morning. You four are dismissed."
